Does anybody know what the reason was for getting rid of "The Hub"? It worked fine. Oh wait...it's a case of "reinventing the wheel". Seems to be the norm. 🙄 Speaking for f/a's and pilots I'd sure love to know why a CBS message wasn't sent out via catcrew.

The was an East thing and, hence, had to be removed.

It is pretty archaic, but now that we've had CATCREW for the last 20+ years (just like the photo on my company ID,) I would prefer to just keep it (CATCREW, not the photo.) Everybody knows how to do what they need to do with it, and it is a very stable platform. In 20 years I only recall one or two instances where CATCREW was down, and then only for a few hours.

It's ugly (like the photo,) but it works. As long as it still accomplishes what is needed, I say keep CATCREW.

While I'd love a replacement to catcrew and a more automated scheduling system PLEASE just leave the damn thing alone.

LOL @ "it's ugly, but it works!" That should be a company motto for the envoy on the older a330s .

Heaven aint close in a place like thiissssssssss

There you go

Is there one IT application that is better?
Sabre vs QIK/Shares
(the old mtc inventory system, forgot the name) vs SCEPTRE
LotusNotes vs Outlook
World Tracer vs Nettracer (to be fair the worldtracer system used by West was pretty good. Then they went for the cheaper but worse Nettracer.
Hub vs Wings

There is a difference between "almost as good, but a lot cheaper" and "not nearly as good and only a little less expensive". A great big difference.

When will they learn?
