Also, airTran is starting Miami-Baltimore and Miami-Kansas City this November; and, not announced, but Miami-Milwaukee and Miami-White Plains are being planned.

Wonder if/how AA will respond.

anyone hear any rumors of AA mainline returning to PVD sometime soon (either to ORD or DFW)?

This has been something I've heard on and off over the past 6 months, but has recently made a bit more 'noise.'

I'm not certainly going to hold my breath, but one can hope.

MIA-AUS and AUS-JFK start this fall. MIA-AUS daily 738; AUS-JFK daily S80. ORD-JFK will also get upgraded to an S80 on one flight. Haven't heard much on MIA-PHX lately, but it is a route AA wants to add.

From what I understand, the 738 that overnights in Austin from the SNA-AUS trip will do a morning departure to Miami, and there will be an evening 738 routed MIA-AUS-DFW.

Finally! I have been waiting for service between Austin and south Florida for years. The route should do well.

No, it has not been uploaded as it has not gotten the final go, yet. Though the route is 95% certain. It explains where the 738 that overnights in Austin from the SNA trip will be heading.
