2nd. Qtr. #'s

Probably a week from today - but I'll look to see if I can find anything more precise.

My prediction: $200 million net income. AA already said that mainline unit revenue was up 11% to 12% or so over second quarter last year, and I figure that will more than cover the much higher fuel cost.

Edit to add: Yep - supposed to be released on July 19.

Too low, remember we got rid of deadwood like Oneflyer, should be around $293 million. Next quarter without FM, should jump to $370 million. :p :p

I'm not sure AMR had a profitable quarter while I was working there, maybe I was the problem.

silly boy Garfield is the only reason this airline is operating. We need more people like him ha ha ha ha

Don't worry - 3Q numbers will be impacted by my lump sum retirement payout.

AMR earnings are almost always released on the third Wednesday following the end of the reporting period, which is when the board of directors meets at HDQ.
