Just heard from a friend that NWA will start the pilot application process today on the company web site...

That must mean that they have recalled all of the furloughed pilots (the ones who were willing to come back), right?

Yes, they are recalling ALL pilots and hiring ASAP. The NWA training center (NATCO) is running at full speed. NWA is also setting up the new B-787 training department for the Dreamliners next Nov., it's a very busy operation.

Remember, major airline pilot hiring will slow or come to a complete stop if the new FAA age 65 rule becomes law next year. If a pilot wants to get on with a major airline anytime soon, this would be a good time...
