keep the cards coming. CLT produced more cards yesterday. ORD started its card drive and ran damn close to 100% on day shift by picking off 23 in two days.

Evening shift should net most of the rest to score somewhere around 40 total TWU cards.

More contacts have been made in numorous cities but I won't post the card totals until the signups become complete. The IAM has been flying its Bo$$es all over the place going to some stations that they haven't been to since the last sellout.

Remember, the IAM agreed to have fleet service contracted out more than any other major airline, union or non-union.

regards,

 It just baffles me how anyone could look for a brighter future, when they cant even see through the rubble of what used to be! How can people be so afraid to exercise their rights, freedom and choices? PHL & PIT ?? All intimidated employee for that matter.People need to open their eyes. Use your head, not any animosity, anger and bitterness from the past and incorrect information shoved down your throat along with everything else you all have had shoved down to this point. there is a choice now, Who the hell wants to settle for less? What the IAM contract would take away from me, that little bump in pay WILL NEVER COVER!!! Everyone needs to get the truth about whats out there!! Take the opportunity to give both sides a chance to see what will pay off in YOUR FUTURE. Do the MATH. Then make your decision when you vote. WE ALL HAVE THAT RIGHT! USE IT!
Regards

Nelson is out for himself,he wants a union job.Why risk decertification? All of the employees on recall will not vote, and that will mean no representation. When is the TWU coming to PHL or PIT ?If Nelson has any guts, come to PHl with TWU cards and come on down to the ready room.
Isn't this the same man that tried to bring some other union in?

TWU will be there Tues & Wed. Is the the ready room the choice location for recieving or losing what you have with your representation?

only the ones in the hubs really make out with the contract because they are already topped at 17.00 an hr. with 4 weeks of vacation.
the ones who got thrown out under the bus were the ones in the 30 or so cities where more than 600 employees lost their jobs. The IAM can take their contract and shove it down their throats. The first time the IAM sold us in the cities out was when Mainline Express came about. what a crappy deal that turned out to be.

Nelson came to PHL after he was called gutless before. He may not have some things, but he has ba!!s.

The bottom line is if a vote is forced.YOU MUST GET OUT AND VOTE. Get the facts & do what you think is best for you & your family. How you vote is no bodys business. However remember if an election is forced less than the 50% plus one is NO UNION. So before you sign that card think about it.

Signing a card just demonstrates supporting the freedom of choice. Know that TWU fully supports that the Fleet service work group NEEDS representation. Having the cards to call a vote is one thing, knowing you have the concern and support of being able to win an election & Card #s to reflect this is another! The last thing ANYONE on either side wants is decertification. Signing a card to really find out what each side actually and truly has to offer that will benefit YOU the most sufficiently would be a very SORRY MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
SOME FACTS:
** Status Quo- keeping all you have including YOUR payscale until YOU Vote in a new contract. Yes this contract in negotiations would apply to you as does the vote that you would be able to cast to accept a better agreement. WN AA both are represented by TWU. Remember this is not a concessionary contract nor would TWU settle on anyone going anywhere but up. (YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO BACKWARDS ANY MORE!)
** DOH!!! You keep your date of hire. You have earned that and TWU respects this & has no intention of ever taking that away from you.
** Too many benefits to count...vaca/holidays/short term disability/full pay on sick days/much more insurance coverages with considerably less premiums, just to mention a few.
** Double time on your 7th day worked.
Better benefits for part timers is another area to be dealt with in negotiations.

SIGNING A CARD JUST SAYS YOU CARE ABOUT HAVING AN OPTION TO DETERMINE WHAT IS GOING TO BENEFIT YOU THE MOST.

GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO ALL!

A change in representation does not change CBAs, all the twu would do is adminster the IAM CBA.

Go ask the ibt what happend when AMFA beat them at WN.

Go ask the IAM what happened when AMFA beat them at NWA and UAL.

Go ask the ibt when PFAA beat them at NWA.

Call the NMB, a change in representation does not change the CBA, it happened above the new union just takes over the administration of the old CBA until the amendable date.

Precedent, learn what it means.

so TWUs contract is already amendable, so..TWU would negotiate one contract for all employees, what could IAM do for us if we were IAM nothing!!!!

Hate to tell you this but the twu's cba has nothing to do with it.

Single carrier status has been granted and you will all be working under a transitioned IAM CBA.

You are all newbies at this, this is our 4th merger.

Considering you are not a Qualified Union Attorney, with all the applicable information and knowledge necessary to accurately inform others in this matter, I wont take it to heart!

Keep your head buried in the sand.

I have shown you precedent cases and you can't accept the truth.

Say bye bye to the twu and welcome to the IAM.
