wow... the depth to dig despite facts is amazing.
DL is the largest airline at CAE based on DOT revenue and passenger data and carries 6X the number of passengers between CAE and NYC that UA does/did.

The deck chairs will be shuffled because you can't upset the patronage pit for both Governors.
The real investigation (and not about the fat man....) is why the One WTC (aka Freedom Tower) was built, and all of the cost overruns and delays?
That one project sucked up ALL of the PA funds and gave is increasing tolls. There were projects that had to be put on hold (the airports); or delayed (the Bayonne Bridge). Why did the PA give Silverstein all that money for the land? So now they are beefing with UA because of the extra high landing fees. As much money UA has put into EWR, (new buildings; hangars; and terminal refurbishments - all on UA's dime) the Port wants to do this? What I'm surprised is A4A hasn't lobbied their Washington politicians to call of the dogs on this.
The PA isn't corrupt and is a good idea. Its when politics (which involves everything in our lives - directly or indirectly) and the quality of politicians leads to greed and graft. From Washington DC, to your local town, put in cronies and unqualified people, and this is what happens.
