WN Mechanics seek mediation

Imagine that Weazz Richard Anderson ex Northwest CEO magically rose to the Top, to run the New Delta Airlines. They even used Northwest money to buy Delta. AMFA ! :)F uped

That reality will never be accepted in many people’s minds.

And again I see no erected Statues for the fallen or their Leaders. Again there are no Statues.

If the guys at SWA went through what the Northwest guys did, and I work with ex Northwest mechanics, they would not be singing AMFA praises. I have ex Northwest guys on my crew, and they shake their heads when they see what Swampy has written on what he thinks he knows about AMFA and Northwest they lived it. But you know what the saddest thing is Weazz , some of those guys that lost everything under AMFA, are now rehired by Delta Airlines, working in the same hangars with no seniority. Talk about a kick in the nuts!

I thought I had read on these Forums that most of the AMFA Members who remained on Strike and did not Scab were blackballed from being rehired at any of the other Major Airlines?

I’m not attempting to be confrontational with this question but I thought it was something I read here some years back?

These are guys that were laid off, or replaced by the scabs, but if you Ex Northwest , Delta will hire you regardless.

No I know that list. It is a very long list. Those AMT’s would be the ones working for Delta today.

I’m sorry I should have been more specific. I meant the guys who Scabbed their own picket lines and went back to work at NWA before the merger.

I thought I read the guys who remained on Strike were having difficulties gaining work back in any of the Majors?

They got what work they could, some guys went to Lockheed, Boeing, Jet Blue, ect. After it was called off, then the other Airlines started hiring them.

The bill has the full support of the Transport Workers Union of America, which represents thousands of workers who maintain U.S. airline passenger aircraft.

““The American public deserves to know the truth in flying. When deciding which airline to fly or which flight to buy, it shouldn’t be a privilege to know where airlines are maintaining their aircraft,” said TWU International President John Samuelsen. “This bill would provide the transparency needed to make those informed purchasing decisions, while also supporting regulators’ efforts to ensure that wherever U.S. aircraft is maintained, the work is held to one standard of safety and security.”

The legislation is endorsed by the Transport Workers Union of America, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists, and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, the Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO, the Association ofProfessional Flight Attendants, and the Airline Pilots Association.

Some seeds take a long time to sprout but eventually they do sprout.

And you’re SURROUNDED on all sides by TWU.
Weazz he just wants to vote no and wait 7 to 8 years for his first raise since 2012! Why the TWU members have a contract, and will work on the next contract, and get their second set of raises. So tell me Weazz who is smarter the AMFA mechanic, or the TWU?
