That is for Europe flights, 100 days no cancels. Good job to all the mechanics and crews and CS/Ramp folks....

Wow! We hear a lot of insignificant sel-fulfullment stats from the company, but this certainly isn't one of them!

Props to you guys out there doin the Europe thing. Can't wait to make enough money and come harass ya!

heheheheh!

Plus I have anecdotal evidence of US "managing the numbers" instead of focusing on real operational performance. If this is true then I feel sad as the workers and customers deserve better from their leaders.

None the less thanks for posting the positive information. It's nice to see some good news for a change.

Piney, I don't know about that but I'll give you a stat I do know. 97% off all schedule flights are on time from a mechanical point of view! 3% of delays (and cxls) are mechanical the other 20-30% and I bet the vast majority is weather and ATC. That leaves Crew issues as about the only other area a airline can manage.

Your numbers dont add up there bro haha!

Yeah, drinking koolaide would muddle anyone's cognitive capabilities.

With people like "Up and Away" running the store and cheerleading, I guess US is doomed. Damn, here I thought they had a chance.

Hey "Up and Away", would Baghdad Bob be senior to you should US merge with Iraq?

Perception is often a problem. Take for example a 737 is broken, out of service. Now we must cxl a flight with a 737.

PHX to DFW is full and that was the origonal route for the broken AC. Ops swaps with a lightley booked PHX to ELP 737 and cxls that flight. Try convinving those passengers that was a real MX issue and not just becuase of a light load!

WOW! Great news for a change. Let keep it up. Remember when we had over 1000 (maybe more) Europe flights with ZERO cancellations? That was during bankruptcy no less. Tempe build on this and don't piss it to the wind K?

Ya, we've been kickin' @ss and taking names. Also our D:0 is getting much better. FRA in particular - been pushing 10 mins early almost everyday. Although everything that leaves between 4 and 6 was delayed getting back out today since last night Ramp wouldn't let any of us push with all the traffic heading to deice. Pretty much all the 8 o clocks left at 11. BRU on 24 had it's #2 on for about 40 minutes (too early of an airstart) due to 2 76's behind them in the alley waiting to get on J. Was horrible... Example MAN which is the first one in around 1330 got in at 1800. So FRA had to use the extra from the HGR 278.

The weather this winter on the east coast as been not as bad as previous years either. We have not had a nor easter yet to take out CLT and PHL yet. Nor the focus cities.

If this winter was worse I think we would see different numbers.

But great to see that US numbers are doing better in clear weather.

In response to this I must add: This was an operational decision in light of the broken aircraft. It is unfortunate that the company can not operate out of a major hub with sufficient spare crews and planes to keep schedule integrity. I have experienced firsthand decision making in PHX and witnessed poor ops decisions daily. For instance cancelling a PHX-PHL huib to hub flight with numerous Euro connex. These flights should never be xld under any circumstances due to the high yield revenue. Also another good one, allowing multi 737 flights operate with a broken cargo bin, thus leaving behind updwards of 60-80 bags. So refering back to the original scenario, it was a better option to cancel a lighter load and reccom fewer pax.

Are these mainline stats only ?
