Can someone tell me why US AIRWAYS members in CLT or PHL who voted strongly against the 2008 POS agreement, in which Steve Miller and Gill Simmons negotiated, should turn around and vote for these two as part of Team Delaney's revamped US AIRWAYS candidates?
 
Also, since most on here realize the UA agreement is a true POS,  can anyone please let us know why anyone should vote for those UA members who negotiated and supported that letter, without just voting on them because you may like one person on the Team Delaney slate who tells you to vote for them?

The membership wanted change and that's why Rich got voted in. Canale had worn out his welcome. I personally thought Rich would have done a better job, in the begining his intention's were good but I thik the money and perks has taken it's toll along with the fact he thinks his position is ivinceable. He's in the coast mode, if he gets beat he'll just retire, if he wins again, he's got it made. No shame on the agreements when you don't have to work under them.
 
That's what is wrong with our agc's, they don't have to work under the cba.

Nothing,,,,,,, but at least at the time, there was hope. If these guy's know they can be voted out for poor performance, it could change their work ethic. By letting the incumbents keep staying in office, it only promotes less service to the membership.

Put them back to work under the CBA, then they would realize how good they had it. I know some of the Canale rejects and they hate coming to work now. It's almost like winning the lottery and going broke one year later. What a shame for what you get for sixty bucks a month.

Honestly, they should be fired. What have they done in 6 years for US AIRWAYS? United? HAL?   Plenty but all bad.    They are useless and there is 6 years of uselessness as their witness.  Many US AIRWAYS members are being asked by CB in CLT to vote for people that they don't even know but can't even win their home nomination.  Voting is everyone's individual right but please don't vote for someone who his own home local despises.  Everyone on the Unifiedforchange slate had the respect and endorsement of their home reporting local.  Only one United candidate at the slate card that Charlie Brown is passing around was endorsed and respected by his own reporting local.  ONLY ONE.   I realize Charlie Brown is supporting his own team, and that's understood, but it doesn't mean that US AIRWAYS members should just blanket vote for a bunch of terrible United Airline candidates that negotiated and approved the terrible United contract.   Even the US AIRWAYS candidates on his team.   Realize that the revamped New Direction actually went backwards and put two US AIRWAYS guts on their ballot that were part of the 2008 US AIRWAYS POS contract.  Both Gill Simmons and Steve Miller negotiated that rag and recommended it to our members.   Everyone should educate themselves who they are voting for.   Remember, if you want to vote for Charlie Brown then fine but please don't vote for people you don't know and who negotiated and/or endorsed the United Airline contract AND DO NOT HAVE THE RESPECT OR ENDORSEMENT OF THEIR OWN LOCAL.   There is a reason why only 14 out of 15 United people on Charlie Brown's ticket did NOT get any Local endorsement OR any nomination out of any of United's 5 Biggest Hubs.

Charlie Brown,  you should tell your local members why 14 out of 15 of your United candidates couldn't get their home nomination.  Also, you should also tell them that 3 of your 5 US AIRWAYS candidates were on the 2008 US AIRWAYS negotiation team and proved useless already.

If anyone should appreciate that they can be voted out for poor performance it would be the Delaney Team. Don't misinterpret though... I'm not saying this team has done an exceptional job by any means. Hoping for change by voting in new candidates has been tried already. We have seen the results.  I hope for a new, prosperous contract to be offerred by the company. One that recognizes and makes right the past sacrifices of our group. What do you think the chances of that happening are?

so, by that reasoning, if we end up getting dealt 2 bad hands,  might as well keep the bad hand and toss in more chips on the table with it?  Moving forward, all unifiedforchange candidates haven't been in the spots they are running for so they can't prove how great they were as AGC"s, etc.   But we do know what we have now, and imo, it's a losing hand.  We can say with certainty that 3 of the US AIRWAYS candidates on Team Delaney's ticket brought us the 2008 pos agreement.  We can also say with certainty that all United candidates on Team Delaney ticket either negotiated or approved and recommended the pos united agreement AND couldn't get the respect of their home local to even endorse them [except one out of 15]. 
 
Makes no sense to toss more chips on the table with a hand that we know is a loser.  Picking from a new deck, nobody can say 4 aces are at the top of the deck, but a losing hand is a losing hand.  Two losing hands only guarantee two losing hands, not a third.
 
At any rate, I hope the US AIRWAYS members don't just blindly vote for United Airline members who can't even get their home local to support them.  Why should CLT or PHL or PHX support United candidates who United members didn't support, over other United candidates who secured the endorsement and respect of their home local?  Most of Charlie Brown's United candidates finished DEAD LAST in nominations at their own local.  If CLT wants to vote for Charlie Brown, that is understandable, but please consider that all of the United candidates that Charlie Brown wants you to vote for are NOT endorsed by the United members at their own home locals.  And 3 of the US AIRWAYS candidates that Charlie Brown wants you to vote for were on the 2008 negotiating team, and negotiated, endorsed, and recommended the US AIRWAYS membership to ratify that pos agreement.
 
I hope fairness rules and that the US AIRWAYS members consider a whole lot more than just considering their AGC telling them, "Vote for my team"

Deception is not a becoming attribute, or virtue to a person seeking an officer’s position that requires integrity, honesty, and most importantly... confidentiality for those he represents! I suppose if someone ever runs against him that he represented in the past, he would drag their personal laundry out in public for his own benefit. If he couldn’t find any dirty laundry, he would simply create some for them!

Since you are here, can you kindly explain to clt why they should vote for usairways candidates that were responsible for the 2008 pos fleet agreement? And do you mind telling clt members what sense it makes to just listen to charlie brown say "vote for my team" when 14 out of 15 of his team members on united couldnt even get their own local to support them due to their involvement with that pos united contract?

I'm NOT buying the bullshit that Bluto is DL, or anyone affiliated with team Delaney for that matter... they are getting framed by someone... and I hope they have to pay for it!
