You are certainly free to do so.  Like I said, I welcome the challenge as I have with other members and if I'm privileged to be elected by the members then the challenge for me will not only to do what I said I would do but also prove myself daily in that capacity.  I'm proud of my accomplishments when the members paid me before and I'm sure I'll be the same 24/7 guy this time if the opportunity comes.  I have a track record on the membership dime and it is something I am quite proud of.
The members didn't vote to pay you......You were appointed and thats how you were paid. With membership $$...We the membership had no say in the matter !!!

I wish my roommate would clean up the mess once in awhile. She really chaps my arse. Certainly no Cinderella that's for sure.

agree with you mike33..  I like to see term 1 and term 2    so count me in as AYE!!!!

Josh  the IAMNPF is fully funded over 100%  I would like to see the company increase it plus I would like to have a 401k match   that way when retirement comes  could have SS IAMPNF and a 401

but josh the difference btwn the 401k and iampnf is that when the economy tanks   so does the 401k   I would be willing to bet you never lost your 401k when the big (so called fail safe banks) FAILED    got news for you   we lost 401k

the iampf tanked as well. The only reason why it is green is because they carved out half of mine and your future benefits and it makes no sense to have the company give the iam an increase only to have the iam chop schedules a thied time and steal our money.
The iampf is guilty of thievery. Count me in the group that is focused on starting a company match first prior to upping what the iampf gets to grab.

tim,Please stop making it seem as though you could do anything different but be the lone dissent on the NC. You have ZERO juice with the company, period. You have no better chance of "cleaning up this mess", as you like to make us believe, than anybody else running on your ticket. Especially artie or carl. And give me one good reason to even consider UA people on your slate. They do not represent me, and they are taking 2 spots on the eboard away from US, with that ticket. You, sir, are not the savior for US.
well, it wont matter regardless since yoyr boys will be bringing out a terrible ta prior to when i could get in and stop them from insanity.

Also, anyone who can vote for a candidate who knifed our craft by endorsing stupid at united is a member who has no idea about labor.

Pat--

What is (or are) some absolute deal breakers for you?

Are you willing to be the "lone holdout" w/r/t endorsing a T/A should it come to that?

Not trying to bust balls, just curious on where you're at.
Kev3188,

I am not worried about being a lone holdout, this NC is solid and I believe we are all on the same page. We saw both surveys and have always kept them in mind.

I think an honest question may not be how 700 or Delaney, or Canale didn't get AH to cower down to them, but how AH got signatures from each of them on anti union contracts.  I mean, nothing forced Delaney and his eboard to sell out our craft at United and only protect 7 stations.  If they ever organize Delta, what are they going to tell Delta, that you have to contract out 40 stations just so you can get a first contract and pay dues?  Doesn't make sense, considering.

Well, I know why 700 hates AH, because AH stole 700's socks off of him without taking his shoes off of him.  Ole AH owns those guys and it isn't even a fair game of chess.  All these guys do is complain about AH, but who ends up agreeing with AH?  Yep, you guess it, 700, Delaney, etc.   Then they wash their hands of their evil deeds and blame the membership.  No wonder why Unions are dying.  Warning Will Robinson!
You two are the lying bobsy twins.

How many times are you going to repeat the same lies over and over?

Let me give you some advice, just because you post the same lies over and over, doesnt make it the truth.

Lol.  Yeah, go run and get that "No layoff" clause instead of doing your J.O.B.   Sheesh!

Tim,

Not that a degree is needed to do this job but I have stated before that I have a degree from Arizona State University. Regarding the possibility of a release, kindly look at 700's post a couple of pages ago and look at the chart. The next step is a proffer of arbitration, PERIOD. If we can't get a contract that is the next step, LP does not hand the duties to anybody else. There is no other step if she can't get us to a cba.

I will not vote to bring a cba to this membership if I don't think that it would be ratified by 90% plus of the membership. I will not spin or lie, nor have I ever spinned or lied, to get that 90% plus ratification vote either. I am a straight forward guy who always has the membership in mind when I do anything in my leadership capacity. Take that to the bank.

I have said before that I am not perfect and have made mistakes in the past and will probably make them in the future too. I am a fighter and love having the ability to make a positive difference for my co-workers and believe that I have had numerous achievements that have made a difference over the years.

P. Rez
Positive difference for your co-workers????????????????? What have you done? I haven't had a raise in almost three years and the last one was .19 cents an hour. Easy to say when your in the hundred thousand dollar club. When was the last time you made a station visit?

OT:  United load planners rejected their IAM contract by about 2-1.  Main reason wasn't the money but that it had the same dopey language as the other Dopey 141 rising contracts.

rockit2...........what station do you work in?

AF Posters/Readers the correct answer is IAM M/R D-142 and why FS is on hold for TA to be voted on. WE LCC FS are joined at the hip with M/R, like it or not it's a fact. Moving forward why who ever survives and carry's on next June needs to push for US/LCC Members to become one unified D-142 Union going into the IAMATWU Association with our Brothers/Sisters at AAL.  Since releasing information has become SO ! political and some are scared of being outed or labeled by their peers of what has been agreed to for US/LCC FS TA CBA . What is the % difference between total Wages / Benefits / Work Rules for IAM US/LCC FS and TWU AAL FS currently ?

They didn't take a knife and stab fleet service.  And, your boys don't even have $22.  They have $21.80 but begged Ole AH that they needed $22 so he gave them a .20 longevity proposal.  And, I wouldn't be surprised if Ole AH got them to sign off on the scope of 12 flights a day, up from 8.  I'll wait on Wiki.  Until then, I'm telling you how your boys are screwing you but you just don't listen.  This contract, at least prior to these last talks, is a complete and utter disaster!  Although we should all be pissed that they want to bring sUS wages up in installment plans that doesn't merge with AMR until late 2015,  what is more troubling is that they are dressing this thing up like a Christmas tree and will try to sell the "No layoff" Job security, and Cinderella date, instead of doing their J.O.B. and enhancing scope....and truth is they prolly gave scope up!   Never mind the 10 pages of health care language that they said was "Cost neutral".   Me don't think it is but we will find out when we see the language and I'll inform everyone of the language concessions, unlike NC and others when it comes out.   Unfortunately, it looks like they will piggy back this off of a single carrier filing and tell the US AIRWAYS members, "Tuffa Lucka, if you vote it down then this is it".  Will most likely be another fear campaign.

one thing is for sure, we all agree on this, they would have gotten eaten alive by US AIRWAYS members bringing this bullshit out prior to June elections.
