i work equally as well with incumbents or opposition. Im just not afraid, in fact i find it quite interesting, to put tickets together that challenge incumbents when my energies arent with them. I doubt i run as a candidate again once this election is over but i could see myself assisting and building an opposition ticket at the twu against intl or local if needed, along with a coinciding one with the iam district if necessary. And its much funner when im not a candidate!
See again it's always about YOU. It's not about the members. This is just a hobby to you. You know, to many others it's not just about them. Those are the people I vote for Tim.

Yes and I've heard your side of that story and what many others have to say about that. In there opinions what happened is because you're not a team player? The world doesn't revolve around you and I Tim as much as we would prefer it too. Getting fired sucks but you have to be able to take some of the blame in that.
Another credit I have to give you though is that you're the most tenacious non stop bastard I've ever seen. If that could just be freakin channeled in the right direction man! You just have to learn to stop making everything about you somehow. If you could ever do that you might one day be the guy running the whole shebang.
The opposite George thing wasn't a joke Tim.
when i was with the incumbents i was the most selfless director as i always was a team player, contrary to what some may say. Always gave credit to the team and stood on their shoulders. Thats how we were successful. Some like js would get pissed because i kicked him off the airtran campaign for undisclosed reasons. But i was always a team player.
Everyone has their story as to why i got fired but in that case i think it was best for me and delaney. I wasnt perfect but i simply lost all respect for the man as a unionist when he tossed united into joint talks and leaving our members to be eaten alive.

My understanding is that sito became much more involved with usairways as a direct result of delaney mishandling united.

its an interest for everyone who gets involved.
Having the pursuit of forcing democratic elections is a necessary thing and quite an honorable interest or hobby for someone. "Democratic selection" and its survival of the fittest at its best.
At any rate, maybe my ego is a bit bigger than it should be so maybe im simply not a good politician. Again, if this election is resolved, and i lose, (oh my), then i think i should consider charlie browns advice and not run again.
My energies may be better in other capacities.

Sorry Tim but your attacks on this guy Delaney seem more like sour personal grapes to me than anything else. It comes across as more petulant than just not thinking the man is doing a good job.

This is how I'm viewing it from the bleachers.

Alright Tim I like this post. You absolutely do have an ego. It takes a guy with a large one to see another one.

I think my David Lee Roth avatar fits me pretty well. That's a guy who gives ego lessons for a living.

u are twu. Im not busting u but all of you twu want us to settle so u can jump into joint talks. Im not blaming u but its certifyable that the twu folks want sUS to ratify.
Right or wrong there are alot of IAM membership that wants that too...  what does htat prove?  and how does it compare to your assertions about TWU?

better question how are you planning to use it to further your agenda?

Thats a good question. It depends upon how i view the ta and if i feel there are any penalties for fleet service in the ta and if they tip the ta unfairly.

I have been told that the iam got everything they asked for but they also said the same thing to united. Lets wait and read the language.

I suppose, any vote on the ta will be dependent on what each individual decides for himself. A $3 wage increase with a higher scope bar could pass fairly easily imo if the hubs only consider their own immediate predicament. And if health care language changed that puts more of a burden on a family then that would add up. If a person is single and isnt over burdened with any possible health care expense then that member would prolly take the cash.

Whatever they negotiated, i hope they closed the disparity between full time health/pension and part time. Our part timers get screwed.

as with any agreement, we have to respect the outcome. In 2008, alot of folks were still waging personal wars with those who voted it in. If it passes then it passes and we move on. If it fails to pass then we still move on.

I've heard through the channells, they sold out the snall stations just like at UA for money and vacation... SMALL cities with laees than 5 flights a day,,,, good by.
