7 weekly jet departures-that only protects current US stations and won't trigger re-staffing ahead of joint talks.  With that said, are there any current mainline stations that have only one mainline departure?

Correct me if I'm wrong; but didn't the same thing happen with the UA contract? UA agreed to pay retro only to significantly raise the employees' monthly contribution on medical. I've spoke to members at UA in my station who were paying next to nothing monthly. Now with the new contribution rates; for family coverage you contribute in excess of $400.00 per month. When you do the math that retro check will evaporate quickly. Once it does the members are still contributing at the new rate. Long term; you've lost money.
You are correct Cargo. The sUA members got their retro, but it was eaten up by the higher medical contributions that they have to pay monthly. The "cheap or free" medical was going to be a sticking point and it was one of the things that was going to be "harmonized" to the rates that sCO pays. But we did have an "adjustment" period a few months ago to get cheaper plans and dental. Some of us got lower rates, but the members who was paying little to nothing got screwed in this. The ACA (Obamacare) didn't help either. Rates went up, but services were broadened.

Was this one of the "compromises" to the retro?

Josh   the term sheets says 7 weekly mainline departures jets..  and that is also including AA.     Take RNO for example  US has 3(?) mainline   not sure what AA has  but lets use 5 for example  and that makes it 8 weekly mainline departures     I cannot think of any city in the domestic system that has just 1 mainline jet for US  except may be OMA???    There is merger and seniority protection and no furlough for any FSA employees

Signing bonus is a joke. After taxes that bonus is nothing. We need retro pay. Pay me what you owe me for the way that you ho me. This is a NO vote.

Robbed is OMA a mainline FSA location?  If this is a standalone agreement I doubt the company would re-staff those locations based on this language.  I hope they hold the line on the joint agreement and maintain protection the 17 TWU AA stations and US IAM.

They dont bother me, it is what it is, they are blinded for their hatred of everything except AMFA.

And AFMA's track record is no better than the TWU or the IAM.

Raise would only be from July 2013 to present which roughly equals 1 year of hours.  Better to get the bonus now without increase in health care costs and also a 2-step raise.  The NMB for a release would probably take 7-8 months. That would hold up the increase in hourly wages. Think about the long term goal.........a JCBA.  We would now be negotiating for an INDUSTRY LEADING CONTRACT.  Please correct me if I am wrong

Loved watching Chuck screw up on his math. Not once but twice, lol. Glad I caught it before he was able to delete it all.

Don't know how he deleted though?
