I recently talked to some PHX folks on the phone and they say your not trusted cause your way to tight with Celanni.
rockit2,

Did they have some prime land for sale on the Arizona/California border for when California falls into the ocean, so that you will have ocean front property? This guy this, that guy that, come out with some names so people can verify. Is BFE near PIT or CLT?

I'm not Tim bro, just a pissed off due paying employee who wants his agc to show up at least once a month to rattle the cage and brief the employees. We currently get our info from friends in the hubs.
So stop being pissed off then. Wherever you get your information if it's legit and credible that's a good thing. I personally don't need to see any union officials to get information. The thing I want from them is to be where they need to be, working on saving people's jobs and doing the other things we elected them to do.

I want working politicians. Not baby kissers.

And if you want phone numbers of people just ask them for it. I'm TWU and asked for a particular phone number from your guys. The secretary gave me this man's cell number. I was very impressed when I called it and he answered. No voicemail and we talked for about 45 minutes.

You can do the same thing.

I make my own decisions in life on who I trust and support. Just asking that you see for yourself or take it with a grain of salt what somebody says about someone you don't know. My past and present GC members would be the best individuals to consult on whether I get along or fight. If you want I will give you names of these GC and your friends can discuss with them.

...and all the while management is rolling on the floor laughing their collective arses off at the dysfunctionality, immaturity, bickering, name calling etc etc etc...brought to this and the AA forum by some of you boys and girls.
Anyone wonder why it seems like when negotiations have been concluded over the past years it seems as though we walked out with our Speed Racer back packs and Mighty Mouse lunch boxes while management walked out with their leather brief cases??

Oh, and I don't know Tim from Adam and Eve, but seems to me, if you support Tim, you are Tim...at least that is what some of you seem to think. I'm probably Tim now...

Yep.

Nah. But the writing style is pretty clear sometimes as are those trigger words.

Yet another in a long list of endorsements for Unified for change.

My name is Chris Locky, I’m an RSE in MSP. I served Local 1833 as Grievance Committee member and Trustee for 2013. I am endorsing and voting for the Unified For Change team. My reasons are numerous and complex, but there is one big one that I’d like to share.

It was during my service on the Grievance Committee that I had the pleasure of working alongside A.J. Lindell, my... Committee Chair. A.J. is a sharp guy with an impeccable memory and a sound logic. His knowledge for contract law and his skill in argumentation of contract applications in the workplace are unmatched. Knowing that he was a debate coach for many years and from my personal experiences debating with him the (de)merits of our new contract, I am of the firm opinion that he is the right guy for the job, in any capacity.

During my time as a Grievance Committee rep, I filed seven grievances. None of them were settled locally, and had to be advanced to the third step. Only one of those seven were replied to and pursued. The remaining six were flat out ignored. The one that was pursued was won and settled, but at the behest of the company implementing their “contract interpretation” bulletins from Labor Relations, NOT from any Union pressure. Since advancing the others, I have not received any response to any of the legitimate grievances that I filed. Furthermore, simple communications with my AGC seemed to fall into a black hole and were never acknowledged.

Now, being an sCO United employee, I was new to the Union process, and I may have been naive with high expectations. But considering that all of my other numerous and complex reasons for endorsing the Unified For Change team revolve around principles that I believe should apply to the representation of any group, I firmly believe that maintaining status quo would not be prosperous for our Union.

We need communication, we need representation, and we need a (strong)voice, none of which has been provided by our current Union representatives. AJ and the Unified For Change team can, and should, give us just that. VOTE!

Let's clear up something before Tim tries to run away with it with his nonsense.

In regards to stations like PHX and PHL those stations under the TWU were outsourced due to the changes in our SCOPE caused by the bankruptcy. You guys are not working OUR metal at the moment because of this. You are replacing the non union vendors who are performing that work or would be if there was never any merger. It is within both of our contracts to perform FSC work or as you call it FSA work. Same thing in JFK. The metal only belongs to us if it falls within station staffing methodologies for the respective contracts. Otherwise we have a fence between us until we have a JCBA -- OR-- we BOTH agree to some type of "helping hand" agreement.

Now I also do not agree with any "Helping Hand" agreements unless there was something very substantial given in return. Let's say something like what the APFA have which is a fast track bargaining agreement which says that by a specific date if the Union and Company don't reach an agreement it will revert to a third party arbitrator for settlement.

Either way I much prefer UNION members performing this work rather than non union third party rejects. Wouldn't you agree?
I fully understand your interest of tossing the US AIRWAYS brothers and sisters under the bus so your group can gain the work.  My interest is US AIRWAYS and as far as I'm concerned, your group isn't going to touch any of our metal and we need to keep everything separate.  If you are worried about AMR workers laid off then talk to the TWU.

Tim,

Dirty politics is all you know and I wonder why so many people that I have met say the same thing about you? I personally have not trusted you since the 3rd or 4th phone call that you made to me after AW and US merged. Why? Googled you because something didn't seem right and found out about AGW. Funny how I figured you out in such a short time period.

Try something for the rest of this political season, and that is not throwing BS against the wall to see if it will stick. Try to win without feeling the need to slander.

Thanks,

Nice deflection.  Please, don't appease the TWU and WeAAsles and toss in the helping hand.  Wiki is a lot sharper than you and if he says it I believe it.  What you need to think about is your members and joint talks, don't continue being a bobblehead for Delaney and AH and handing them the holy grail helping hand fence agreement and thereby killing leverage in joint talks.  Don't be so bitter!

It's fine to do what you want to do but when someone is paying you $100,000 and you are working on our dime, you should quit buddying up with management and looking the other way when they do considerable work in PHX. Not sure how many golf outings you been on with your supervisors but I'm sorry to say you just aren't built for a union job.  You should re-evaluate your direction in life and maybe management is the way to go.  Drinking coffee with management and buddying up is ridiculous.  Just the other day, your boy, Gill entered a breakroom in PHL where there was a manager and two ramp guys sitting there.  Gill walks over to the manager and shakes the managers hand and acts like the two rampers aren't even there.  The two rampers looked at him in disgust.

Order your uniforms Pat, ebay has specials.  Nothing against you personally but our members are paying $750 a year and they can't see where union starts and management ends.  Sorry.

Huh? You are really a piece of work. Come to PHX and ask the guys and girls who have known me for years what I am about. Never hung out with any management type in any capacity. I guess you are getting desperate.

I had the same feeling about weasel.  As a twu member I can understand him wanting prez and others to sign over some of our rights so that American's laid off workers can come back and move up the seniority list on us. This forum is polluted now with retirees, twu, agcs, 700, and others who have taken over this page and aren't even going to be working under the ta that wikileaks shared with us.

The important questions go unanswered.  What have they done in 6 years?  Wouldn't $600,000 a piece net us something?  Not even a good united contract.  But who to vote for? I don't even know the united members on either slate so I'm forced to vote all us airways candidates, even my current agc who should be thankful as hell that im voting for him, then Ill fill up the rest of the ticket with the united airline candidates from the change ballot.

Hopefully, after this election we can finally have some leaders who aren't bobbleheads and will stand up to management.  But you are right, none of our leaders stand up to management at all.  We have guys on 2 year drop dead letters.  Why would any agc agree with management not to arbitrate but instead bring back a member on a 2 year drop dead letter where he can't do one thing wrong?  Where is that exactly in our contract?

I don't think anyone has to go to phx to realize that you run a loose ship there.  We have phx guys here who tell us that the union is non existent and allows management to threaten employees all the time.  Is it also true that management does work in phx as well?

IAM Member Here, it's unfortunate that Prez and Fairbanks and Charlie Brown all cut those deals with AH and management, pegging drop dead letters on a dues paying member for 2 years.  It's not in the contract and unfortunately they have refused to use the arbitration part of the contract.  Once we clean out the management flunkies, and kick their own asses up to  management where they belong,  we will be able to engage the fullness of the grievance procedure and stop cutting the ridiculous 2 year drop dead sentences on members.  Only a moron would cut that deal with management.
