Yes, REAL union folks did fight.  Sorry, I'm just not impressed with a pension that is worst in the industry and blows,  tossing my health care to "See Management"  and maintaining the lowest wage of legacies.  Hell, and I'm not even part time like 40% of my peeps are.  No longevity, no shift differ, no more holidays, no more vacation unless you have 25 years, and still half sick pay,  and a  ridiculous ten cent increase to retirement after 3 years of supposedly fighting to raise it back up.  Part timers get doubly hammered.  Our peeps were lied to bigtime.  Told that they would at least close the gap of the part time disparity, and raise the pension and/or create a 401k as well.  We didn't get D*ck!   Other than a long overdue raise that was hostage to 3 years that we were owed anyways.   Sorry, not impressed.

As far as me being a union guy, I got news for you, unions have been wrong a lot lately.  And I'm not the Pollyanna as you are and cower down to them when they violate the civil rights of members or sign ridiculous contracts like at United.  To be sure, this TA at US AIRWAYS is better than the anti union one at United because I do put respect on scope, but not until pro management folks as yourself start becoming more radical with labor, will you ever learn that you actually have to fight Labor now as well to bring it back home where it should be.

Ive read you and Sidney's BS and you sound just like management mouthpieces.  Begging folks to work with management, even if that means accepting unfair contracts.  I honestly have no idea why any part timer would vote for this TA other than just accepting a wage increase.  At any rate, you can call me all the names you want regarding politics but no way in heck will I consider voting democrat this time for US President without a candidate that offers something a lot different from where Obama has things.  Very disappointed in Obama.   Not saying the Republicans are right but they have been spot on with a lot of things.    And FWIW, I never been a Republican and I prefer staying independent.

I don't give a damn about your opinions and anyone who does is an idiot. I'll put my credibility up against yours any day of the week.

At least with management I know where they're coming from. With you I'd be being stabbed in the back at the same time you're trying to shake my hand.

I agree that you know exactly where management is coming from. That's your problem, you are one sided and need to seriously educate yourself about the history of Labor.  You espouse conciliatorism, I actually wouldn't mind a revolt to this nonsense.  Gosh forbid we get another one of your democrats in there to tax us more.  notice, the dopey Health care attachment in this ta isn't just for Obama care, it's for any taxes.  And, another thing I forgot was the lie that the NC told us that they would clean up the wage progression scale which they bailed on.  Sorry but going into a 13th year and waiting until then to get a modest wage is a joke.

You're DOA man. Exposed for the fraud you are once again. 20 years and counting all the way till you hit the finish line.

It is incredibly insightful to read your thoughts, which make your rants even more suspect. Your personal agenda in trying to get an elected position by making yourself into the raging anti establishment alternative has major flaws. Your inability to see the big picture in trying to get the best deal possible for your Members is quite astonishing.

The folks in the other side of the table are also participants in negotiations and have to be dealt with because they also answer to someone else. It shouldn't be a surprise that the TA is structured as it is. There are major negotiations to take place further and it is lunacy to believe that your tactics would ever prevail in the real world. Your call to get a contract then raise the bar AGAIN, during Joint talks was just crazy... Not based in reality.

Any heavy lifting will be done during the Joint talks which will be the most complicated venture either side has ever encountered because of the vast differences in language, culture and expectations. This TA took care of the issues that it could and left the complicated issues that will surely be addressed in the next round. None of this should be a surprise to you since the blow by blow off what was to come was shared with you (before you started "unfriending" those that exposed your flawed analysis on FB)

As far as the Democrats... You might need to learn how the government works and the fact that the President of this country has LESS power than those in Congress that either stall, filibuster or just plainly, do nothing then blame the President for it.

The fact that the Republican controlled Congress has kept the NLRB voiceless for so long should give you an indication of which party is on your side. Learn how the government works before firming an opinion seemingly formed by Facebook posts.

You ran for a position? Flabbergasting.

WeAAsles,

Tim was the first person to call us when the AWA/US merger was announced and it took me and CL about 4 or 5 phone calls over a couple month period to come to the same conclusion highlighted above. We believed he was hoping for a decertification so that his AGW experiment could fly.

Brother Tim lay down your sword it's over ! Time for some fishing ? $23.00 , SCOPE, and Medical for F/T will trump other items that will have to wait for in JCN . My bet 70 % yes for ratification ? You are wrong Brother about the ACA it's a start and the tax is a mute issue for FS Medical Plans.. You are right Brother about ALL Americans need to evolve to a Medicare For All system like our Australia Workers have that includes medical, dental, and eye care . The USA based Unions are limited with taking the medical issue's off the bargaining table when WE THE PEOPLE have a divided/dysfunctional Government who's in the back pocket of Corporations backed by SC Judges. We should compare it to the divided/dysfunctional D-141 . IMO it's time for the Grand Lodge to step up and do the right thing for the ASSOCIATION ? Have a safe and fun 4th July week-end AF readers/posters. Fish On !

i hear ya bro. Seniority is above even wage and health as the most sacred because, in this industry, without it nothing else matters.
In that regards, the foresight of the intl has already done something that protects our seniority and keeps two unions from battling. Big points for that. I remain disappointed that the intl hasnt been as aggressive against a dysfunctional district though.

The Association is a true benefit to usairways members because the twu would have had no choice but to fight and argue for their members to have more favorable seniority over us. Nothing against twu.

Without a doubt i was hoping for a union change but so were you. You actually led the charge but after you dimed out everyone in phl, your raid was over.

When is your next tee time with management Pat?

huh?
Perhaps one of the best things going into joint talks is not having your management arse involved as a local president anymore. Effing over your own members pimping them with your real estate scams really made you look like a jack ass that you are.
Then toss in all the thievery associated with you being a con artist. I heard you sang like a canary diming out your brothers over your scam.

Like I've said before Pat. Our side of the fence is very well aware of the history and antics of Tim. But nothing wrong with always putting out those little reminders.

Now maybe the thread can get back to talking about the TA you guys have in front of you? I talked to one of your other AGC's the other day who gave me a little more clarity on an issue I wasn't sure of. The conversation was greatly appreciated.

Tim,

Why such hate? Hate is such a horrible thing, especially when claiming religion. Resorting to name calling isn't the answer Tim. Lying is even worse. Don't be a bitter liar.

Why are you lying again?

The cops were called immediately after Aremdio and Bolan attacked the TWU guys from HP.

Pat wasnt even there, I have posted the facts from the articles about the incident, yet you continue to blatantly lie, how do you expect any member to trust you as their AGC when you lie about the facts all the time?

You have ZERO credibility, that is why you will lose once again in the latest election.

And by the way when my mother was alive she taught me something every valuable, if you are going to lie, you better have a good memory, and you dont!

How can you still about about what happened in PHL when the FACTS proved you are lying again?

Huh?  I actually like you as a person and never had a problem with ya. Don't take me mentioning your past actions as something personal.  I didn't take your comments about me personal and neither should you.  I did what I did and I would have preferred any union over the IAM back then, and you did as well.    As far as golfing with management, everyone knows Pat.  It doesn't look good even though you have told others that you keep a tight line from personal and pleasure.
