Without a doubt i was hoping for a union change but so were you. You actually led the charge but after you dimed out everyone in phl, your raid was over.

When is your next tee time with management Pat?
When is your next "date"with escorts in IAH?

Did you hand out gift cards to buy votes for you and your slate?

Time for you to go on a cruise isnt it since the votes will be tallied on the 9th?

When I borrowed Tim's picture a few weeks ago he had to go dime me out to the moderators? He couldn't even take a little ribbing without going wah wah and crying like a little biatch.

Tim,

Why such hate? Hate is such a horrible thing, especially when claiming religion. Resorting to name calling isn't the answer Tim. Lying is even worse. Don't be a bitter liar.

P. Rez
BTW, why did you create more of a disparity in the contract between the haves and have nots?    Why have those who are not topped out subsidize those of us who are TOS?  I thought you were going to improve the wage progression so someone doesn't have to wait till the 13th freakin year?   Hey, I'm sure those of us who been around find it easier to vote on a TA that includes more vacation and a 9% pay raise for the last two years over no vacation and a 3% pay raise for the last two years.  And I thought you said you were going to address part time disparities?  What up with that?  Oh yeah, "Next time".    And we still have the suckiest pension in the industry.  No thanks to you who got us a tweak .10 that brings us up to a whopping $51 and no 401k.  Never mind the part timers.  Hey Pat, what did you bring the part time pension to, $36??  LMAO.   I guess you will 'Get'r next time".  Oh boy

Tim Nelson said:
Huh?  I actually like you as a person and never had a problem with ya. Don't take me mentioning your past actions as something personal.  I didn't take your comments about me personal and neither should you.  I did what I did and I would have preferred any union over the IAM back then, and you did as well.    As far as golfing with management, everyone knows Pat.  It doesn't look good even though you have told others that you keep a tight line from personal and pleasure.
Tim,

I have no problem with past actions that are true being mentioned. However, even though the voting is over you continue to state the golf outings with management as gospel. I have never done anything socially with any management person of any rank, PERIOD. For you to keep saying this tells me that you are willing to say or do anything to get what you want, despicable and not very religious. Very disapointing indeed, come to PHX and ask if I spewed lies and innuendo during this election about you or anyone on your team. The answer you will get is NO. Drop the BS about me now Tim.

You know it's true Pat.   The only one who is lying is you.  Your little page you and your team funded that is still up and running is not only filled with lies but is utterly ridiculous.  I'm not even complaining, actually I even commented on the page and gave a few 'likes' to the cheap shots.

At any rate, your ta will pass but I am truly disappointed that you guys chose to agree with management over leaving the part time disparities the same.  Are there any other part timers who have to pay double for medical?  And this is the second contract outside of a bankruptcy that is about 10 years ago.  Oh yeah, one thing you are good at saying, is "We will get that next time'.   And the pension remains the worst in the industry.  Thanks Pat

BTW, getting a 1.5% pay hike for 2013, and 1.5% 2014 for all those who aren't TOS is also a joke.  Thankfully, I'm topped out and you pushed all of us farther ahead with more vacation and better pay, but those behind us aren't even in the rear view mirror anymore.

Save all your BS about how great this TA is.  You guys agreed with management to keep the first day at half pay.  Agreed with management not to bother with increasing holidays, and agreed with management to scale down your promises and only toss in a dime into our pension which is still the worst.

With all of that, exactly what were you guys going to strike over? You should have been able to get this contract the first day you walked into talks.

Tim Nelson said:
huh?
Perhaps one of the best things going into joint talks is not having your management arse involved as a local president anymore. Effing over your own members pimping them with your real estate scams really made you look like a jack ass that you are.
Then toss in all the thievery associated with you being a con artist. I heard you sang like a canary diming out your brothers over your scam.
Wow, hit a cord did we.

Another unimaginative come back from someone lacking any substance to back their ridiculous position.

No, it is NOT true, LIAR.

Well, at least thankfully the members knew better and tossed your scams out of office with you.  The new Local President is much more educated at least and not handing out his real estate cards scamming folks who got caught in the market.  And plenty of substance on the other part of you being in hot water and almost losing your employment.  The only thing is that we don't know is how many members did you have to rat out?

yaawwwwnnnn.   It really doesn't matter to me though what you did with the supervisors.  Moving forward, I think you should move a bit farther from management though, regardless.  And, even though you and the other low lifes funded a scam site, myself and my team mates chose to take the high road.  I'm very proud of that.  At any rate, one thing I am tired of is filing civil right charges against my union.  I won 3 out of 4 already dating back to 2002 but hopefully the INTL gets more involved, before charges become a federal case once again.  The INTL needs to correct this dysfunctional distrct and such relief should involve making things right with the person they kicked off our team.

I'm sorry to interrupt your little futile one on one but this has to be about the funniest thing I've heard all year. This is like trying to compare a Rocket Scientist to a Deer in the headlights.

In my absolute most humble opinion.

You have always been NYer's "Danny DeVito" defending him.  The reality is that NYer finally had to 'fess up' and circle back around.  Maybe he finally retools himself and gives it another shot with politics but imo giving out his real estate cards while begging for votes is counter productive.

The reality is that what we do requires NO college degree...
That may be true, but what we do does require education & a skill set not every one has. Please don't sell yourself short.

...and the reason we get what we do is because OTHERS who came before us a long time ago fought and died to win those benefits over many years of sacrifice.
...And IMHO we dishonor them every time we take the easy way out or define ourselves as "just a ramper."

We have this job for one of two reasons period. Either we knew someone or we were lucky when they called us up we then passed the interview?
C'mon man. Nobody had to hire any of us. We each brought something to the table, whether it was previous experience, skill set, or personality. Good timing? Maybe. Luck? Not so much...

Don't forget about passing probation and everything else as well...

When he bailed out on EFCA, that was a big blow to what he claimed he would do.  But I also was uncomfortable with how the AFLCIO compromised with Republicans and agreed for arbitration.  Unions are in sore need of a tuneup. I end up having to fight them [The unions] over members rights  just as much as I engage in fighting for their rights to be represented.
Don't get me wrong- I'm very much with you on the idea of labor reform. We just have different ideas on how to get there.

To everyone: I get that dumping on Tim is a sport around here, but regardless of how you feel about him or his history, don't underestimate the value of a dissenting voice in a group. Without it, the road to groupthink becomes that much easier. Just a thought...

P.S. P.Rez-- I'm a blind bat. Who is that in your new pic?

I feel very complimented that you choose to try and create fantasies, which means I've become a threat to your ridiculousness. On the other hand, it's an admittance you're not able of going toe to toe intellectually.

Yaaawwwwnnn is correct, tired of your same old BS stories that are lies you little b**ch. Speaking of scams, you are lying every time your mouth opens. Some piece of work you are.

Ok what I see here is Tim trying to pander to the currently 27% of your members who are Part Time. So currently there are 73% of your members that are FT status and most of that percentage are topped out . Now back to that 27% I have to assume that a percentage of those are at top out rate due to so much stagnation in hiring the last 10 years? So maybe let's say to be kind to Tim 20% of the membership are not topped out? I guess that those 20% have a choice to make if they don't see or believe the road ahead?

Now let's take the new station staffing language with being able to work our AA metal (Currently in any station that TWU is not already staffed) That is going to provide a ton of protection for people to remain in their stations and to remain at least in their current status and maybe even for some to gain FT status. So that is absolutely something people need to take into consideration.

That and the fact that we will progress shortly after ratification to JCBA talks. If you listen to Tim he makes it sound like there is no chance at a second bite of the apple. And no, none of us can say with certainty how that will progress but it will progress.

This is the reality Tim. Not your ranting psycobabble.
