Too bad we can't take a snapshot of the time when your application was in the NFW pile at Piedmont.

I bet you my snapshot is prettier than your snapshot.

The following is the way traderjake's pappy handled empire pilots seniority;

"SENIORITY:
Seniority s h a l l continue t o be governed by the provisions of Section 19 of the
Basic Agreement except as follows:
A. Former Enpire p i l o t s shall be placed on the Piedmont Pilot System
Seniority List on January 3, 1986 following the most junior Piedmont
p i l o t i n the same order that they appear on the Empire Pilot Seniority
List dated January 15, 1986.
"

traderjake's pappy got him the pilot job.

Trader, pappy is a piece of dung.  He put pilots that flew for years on the bottom of his list and then put you at the top of the hiring list.  Tell pappy hi for me while playing the deliverance theme song.

traderjake, pappy stapled Empire Airline pilots on the bottom of his pilot list, then gave your preferential hiring for the airline he worked for.

traderjake, did the Empire Pilots deserve to be stapled on the bottom of pappys list?

Do you think Traitor mouths off to his pappy for what he did to the Empire pilots? What a hypocrite.

Traderjake, was the pilot interview a challenging experience for you?  Do you know what it feels like to not have a pappy working for the company you are interviewing with?

You are quite the "man".

Trader interview for his pilot position,  "wink, wink"

nic award to the alpa pilot """neutrals""", "wink, wink"

I told you guys to let me know when the next meeting of my fan club was scheduled.

Is fried chicken being served?

you are not going to stick up for your pappy?  He stapled pilots to the bottom of his list and put you at the top of the airline hiring list.

You are both the problem in this world,  not the solution.

trader, west pilots prey on people like you. They make you think for the first time in your life that you are a man when they know that you are not.  You bought their line of bs.  You are like the west, they will always be west pilots and you will always be trader.

Anniversary and Replacement ALPA Pins
How does a pilot get a replacement ALPA pin, or extra ALPA pins?  The easiest way is to call 888-FLY-ALPA, #3 and ask for a replacement pin. Another way is to go on the ALPA website at www.alpa.org, go to the Members' Only section and look for the "My Info" link.  The same page where you find your ALPA dues paid for your taxes. On the left side of that page is another link that can be clicked to order replacement ALPA pins.

ALPA reps will send your replacement pin once they verify member status. It is recommended that pilots have at least two pins at all times.  Pins break or get lost, so it's smart to have spares ready.

ALPA is no longer automatically sending anniversary pins.  If you are entitled to a new ALPA anniversary pin, you need to call and ask for a new pin.  ALPA will send you two new ALPA pins, and it will take approximately two weeks to arrive.

How does ALPA determine when a pilot reaches an anniversary date?  Your time in ALPA is determined by the date a pilot first applies for membership.  It is based on your very first ALPA carrier membership application, and continues through any furlough time.  New hire start dates at your first ALPA carrier, and ALPA membership application dates do not always match up.  At United, we send in the membership applications and forms in the pilot's first week at United.

We've had an instance where a pilot's anniversary date was off by as much as approximately six years.  (the nic award put new hire west pilots above 17 year East pilots [POSTER ADDED COMMENT}) This was caused when the first airline did not send in his ALPA membership application promptly, if at all.  Then the pilot was furloughed for almost six years.  When he
returned from furlough, the airline sent in a new ALPA application form, thereby delaying his "official" start date with ALPA by six years.  This certainly was not the pilot's fault, but ALPA can only send anniversary pins based on their records.
