I already said that if anyone had a problem with the ballot that they should file an objection.  Just be prepared to lose that, too.  Wouldn't it be more productive to get on with things and accept that your power-grab was a huge failure, just like a lot of folks on here, myself included, told you it would be?

He said think about it.  That had nothing to do with the ballot, and no one has expressed any dismay at the referendum.   That is ancient history.

For someone who claims to take umbrage at baseless accusations you seem to have faith in a fair amount of them yourself.   Think about it (imagine a relevant address to the lower left of the postage Claxon told you about).

You are correct about one thing.  Whatever you're talking about is waaay over my head.

Yes.  Don't waste your time.

Cheers 🙂

Just curious. Would someone on the balloting ad hoc committee have exclusive access to a running count?

BallotPoint provides the results.  They are an independent company, and votes are counted by them electronically.  I don't know the particulars, but likely USAPA people are there when BallotPoint runs the results, and they see the numbers simultaneously with BallotPoint people.

I doubt BallotPoint would endanger their well-respected reputation of neutrality by letting the results be manipulated by any of their clients, including USAPA.

I think the real issue is that we are trying to understand how not to be scammed BY THE SYSTEM, or its abusers. No matter how it is set up, if there is a way to abuse it to personal advantage, it will be found and exploited. A DOH-based system takes some of that possibility out of the equation, but I am certain that the FCFS will eventually be accepted by the former US employees once they understand how to make it work for them, and how to spot abuses. Abusers (agents or travelers) when caught should be fired.

For those US employees who just cannot tolerate having to deal with the FCFS system, I have a few suggestions:

1. Figure it out, then suck it up and deal with it.

2. Or, buy a ticket.

3. Or, move into base.

4. Or, quit.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Your post on the non-rev policy thread is hypocritical to say the least. You can't tolerate binding arbitration yet you lecture others about accepting FCFS. View attachment 9941

Federal judge, or not, she does not have the authority to override the RLA at whim.  She will find that out fairly quickly if she tries.
Good luck 😉

Hypocrisy?

Lenidas leaders have collected untold amounts of money from passionate and gullible donators who have given money to a for-profit (and unaccountable) organization with absolutely no knowledge of what "modest operational fees or expenses" are skimmed by its founders... and all they got for their money was "If you want to see a merger with American according to the terms of the MOU (that nullifies the only contract that circumscribes the Nic), then vote yes.  Sincerely, Leonidas LLC"

"We were for the 2005 TA before we recommended you vote to nullify it.  Hey, quick, look over there... another scab, east hole, yellow lanyard wearing hypocrite.  Send us more money now!!?  Please, we spot clowns, scabs, and hypocrites for you ( You know, the ones who aren't listed as donators on our donator's hall of fame shakedown web page.  Check to make sure you are on the hall of fame page!  If not, send us money today!"

Leonidas has been effective in countering USAPA's attempted land grab and has preserved West jobs. There is no NY, NJ thuggery with the donors and I get a laugh everytime Clax talks about a blanket party. It reads like a page ripped out of the book of false RICO charges dreamed up by Clan Cleary. Why have police been called to investigate an assault at USAPA HQ? That's because your union is run like it's the Mob.

We are beating you because we have the unity you'll never achieve. All I have to do is point at this total waste of time and resources recall.

You are your own worst enemies.

MB seems pretty clear that it allows parties to the table other than unions. Given USAPAS clear and obvious aversion to fairly representing the West, and given the fact that MB has nothing to do with collective bargaining, it seems completely logical to let the West represent themselves. That's how everyone sees it...except the ever contrarian you-know-who.

You and I have had our DOH seniority ever since you fell into a coma and started dreaming AWA saved USAir.

The Leonidas for profit LLC contributors list was last updated on April 2013.

Call USAPA and ask them if they have had better luck signing up new contributors since then.

Your concern for the finances of West pilots is making me misty-eyed.

Why didn't the company accept Leonidas LLC's December 20th written proposal to distribute $2M dollars to the West Pilot Merger Committee for merger related expenses?  (In case Rez J. is reading, that is a rhetorical question.)
