Bradford is a visionary. USAPA should commission a statue of the Founder for placement in the Carolina's Air Museum.
I would put it at the entrance to the crew room in PHX

I've heard about the planned lawsuits as well. I think that's why EOA has been in such a bad mood. Could this be RICO retribution?
Hmmmm.....
Another west pilot lawsuit. How novel.(sarcasm)

Is this the last full month Usapa is alive? I think so.
Hmmmm. Tyranny of the majority, APA will take it from here.

All things considered, APA is a strong positive development for the west. We look forward to being good union pilots.

Remember, be good union pilots!

Remember, continue to pay USAPA dues. They have carried you from the despair and stigma of being an america west pilot, to higher levels of USAirways and American.

Good luck with that. "You'se" are missing four key elements:

1) A brain.
2) A spine.
3) A moral code.
4) A realization of not being the true center of the universe, and the knowledge that nothing's ever just "All about MEEE!" See 1) and 3) above.

I agree that the company and the APA could and should crush USAPA. I certainly understand your thinking as a Cactus 18er. I've been watching the conversation on the AWAPPA boards as well as Usapians and management who have been given access. They know what's being talked about and are anticipating further litigation. That's why they are "touchy" and crabby. 😉

Conversation along these lines:

Can we file a law suit against Bradford for starting all of this mess?!

Anybody can file a lawsuit for anything. Ask the Cactus 18...
Yep, merit is not a requirement for filing a lawsuit. All you need is money, and a willingness to spend it.

1. I say we all file small claims cases against these pricks
In for small claims. They should at least have to answer for this.

I'm in for small claims as well... For 50 bucks, I'll even be the guinnie pig to see how long it takes...

First, unions are subject to personal jurisdiction in every state in which its members reside. So - they are free to ignore service if they wish - and in fact that would be great - because then the court could issue a default judgment against them. Second, the small claims court has subject matter jurisdiction because the dispute is with regard to the union's constitution, which is a common law contract between the union and its members. If a union breaches its constitution, it is actionable in state court just as is any other contract. Third, you can fill out a small claims lawsuit in Maricopa County online. It doesn't require going down to the courthouse until the court date.

1. took ALPA to small claims court over a $1500 bill they sent me for monies I owed four years previous. They miraculously found this 30 days after AWAPA ( not the web board) came out publicly. They threatened to sectioned 29 and I ran to small claims. Unfortunetely I had to pay those f$%kwads at national before I could sue. Then I forced them to spend around $2500 defending themselves. In Scottsdale you do have to pay first but they will have to defend themselves. The whole thing costed me $16. and one morning at court. And the bonus? I got to state in open court how despicable and dishonest ALPA National was.
Short of SMALL CLAIMS COURT (next step), I don't know how to get any resolve from
these A$$wipes (USAPA).

 e
Bottom line, anybody can file a lawsuit against USAPA for $50-$70.

For example, if someone is staying at the CLT Uptown can walk a block and file to dispute a billing statement.

It certainly is their right.

When you post these conversations is it your intent to make the posters look stupid? That's what you're doing.

A talking about someones weight? Is that all you're left with? What's next, making fun of their handicapped child?

You might have grown up with money, but not class.

I think you're right. About a month so why don't you just stop paying your dues now?
