Good morning east SCABS.

While we wait for SCAB Claxon to rerun his regurgitated assortment of Ansett articles and YouTube videos, try to keep this in mind.

Claxon claims I am am a "angry F/O", yet this is an anonymous web board from which he can summize no detail. I have offered numerous times that I was flying 320s long before the east SCABs took delivery of their first, and I have been Captain on the same since long before the AWA acquisition of your bankrupt airline.

So, my advice to him, and the rest of you east SCABs,.... (yes, you know if you are one of the uscaba supporting SCABs, so I will leave it to you to make the determination if I am addressing you....and to the east pilots that are not SCABs I apologize and feel sorry you have to intermingle with these POS scumbags).....the separate ops walls are coming down, so, my advice is do not discuss the seniority list integration with any West pilots, particularly any West check airman who might be giving you your next line check or AQP.

Now back to your regularly scheduled day of Claxon's desperate lies and misinformation. Must be his way of coping with the inevitable integration of the Nic.
Now that I know West check Airmen are out to bust us I have a guarantied pass because if he tries to fail me my lawyers will sue him and the company.  I am now looking forward to letting the West check airmen know they are junior to me when I walk in the door.

I'm not justifying what Nic said, but I can understand getting angry reading stuff like this. Putting walls up between east and west is right up there with putting third listers above west pilots. All talk like this does is make me want to open up my checkbook. Do you work for AOL?

Don't worry, the pre employment paranoia screening for Check Airmen is better than for Line Pilots.

Now back to watching Perry Mason.

Bean, were you on the old ALPA board when the merger was announced. There were bricks laid that very day. There has been a lot of wall building on both sides, but the first I remember were "Oh no, the Titanic! US Scareways" "Let then die!" Any sound familiar?

Sorry, i thought the reference was made to imply base fences. I'm well aware of the walls built between the two sides.

I've always said the merger helped both groups. We wouldn't be American Airlines now if the merger had never happened.

Subject: U Turn: Is the NIC Negotiable

Our MECs merger (and now AWAPPAs) attorney said the NIC was in actuality the proposed seniority list developed through ALPAs Merger policy that ALPA will adopt as its bargaining position to be presented to the company, but whichthe company is not required to accept, that it is only a part of ALPA overall bargaining proposal, and that NIC does not establish any enforceable seniority rights in a collective bargaining agreement with the Company. IT'S BEEN LONG OVER!

Subject: U-Turn and the DFR, Part I

If the ALPA process was final and binding why was there a Rice committee, a blue ribbon panel and Wye River? But then, our own Merger attorney made it clear in a court filing back in July 2007 that “the proposed pilot seniority list developed through ALPA’s Merger policy that ALPA will adopt as its bargaining position to be presented to the Company, but which (like a union bargaining position in any matter) the Company is not required to accept.”

One of the four Leonidas LLC directors is apparently now employed as an American Airlines pilot;\

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horner’s current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union. APA PILOTS DETEST AWA PILOTS!

Maybe they did and I skimmed over it too quick.

PAY ATTENTION..........YOUR OWN MEC.......Our former MEC and our union leadership played a very high stakes game of poker by not dealing at Wye River. Freund was right, we were risking everything…..and right now, it looks like we lost. They need to take responsibility for that.. YOU DUM WESTIES WERE TAKEN FOR AN EXPENSIVE RIDE.

On February 20th at your meet and greet, Freund is going to tell the west pilots what they need to know, he probably has already given a hint.  Freund attempted the same at Wye River.

Your best bet now west is to work out something with the East, the APA version will not be as kind.  NO NIc or wide bodies, but some conditions and restrictions.

Listen and weep.

So, if you still think our MEC were heroes at Wye River, tell that to our bottom 175 pilots. All we can say is when you update your resume’, just remember who didn’t “SAVE DAVE.”

If the former West MEC goes after us on the facts, we’ll have to put out more details, including actual statements from those who were there on both sides. But that’s the former MEC’s call.

(Go ahead, former MEC members. Deny the truth. Look every pilot facing furlough in the eye and tell them about holding the line at Wye River. Want to talk? We’ll give you our forum to explain yourselves.)

"According to our reports, on Day One of Wye River, Jeff Freund warned the West MEC that if USAPA won, the West risked losing everything. He urged reaching an agreement. He was gone on Day Two. .....YOU BETTER LISTEN TO FREUND THIS TIME! HE WILL TELL YOU IT IS OVER!

Freund will not be pro nic, he will be pro bono.  He will tell you what you need to know west.

USAPA crip is available 24hours a day, it is a service included in your union dues for half of you west pilots and the other half it is included in your agency fees.
