The IAM Fleet Service did more ancillary work system wide than AMFA represented workers.
 
The language was all ready in the IAM Fleet Service CBA.
 
When AFMA struck, NW imposed a new CBA which removed ancillary duties from their scope.

WTF!? So, you're now saying people were supposedly scabs for doing "struck work" during "the 30 day cooling off period", when you weren't even on strike? That "hundreds" of flights had magically seen pilots cheerfully opting to suddenly decide to clean aircraft cabins during that time, while you and yours were still on the job? And, of course; "...every time we had an incident of Pilots or FAs cleaning planes a Maintenance or Utility supervisor came out to the plane to witness it..."? Sure thing, for "hundreds" of flights, and how would anyone know there was "an incident" even going on, untill said supervisors came out to "witness" it? What were the supposed spervisors doing?...Sitting ready alert by every gate, just so's to respond immediately to any reports from your magical, inside sources? Just how many "Maintenance or Utility supervisor" people are we now supposed to even believe were present then, and that had such astounding amounts of free time to do nothing else? Lets see now: "Hundreds" of flights pull up to the gates (and it ain't like all the gates are conveniently located right next to each other). Pax are unloaded, and pilots, having nothing else they'd rather do, start cleaning aircraft cabins. Your supposedly inside sources all  instantly report back to central command, and equally immediately; "a Maintenance or Utility supervisor came out to the plane to witness it.", and all this before any "incident" was over...? Have I got this right so far?  Why am I now unable to do anything other than smell a huge pile of complete BS here? Even the impossible logistics of what you claim took place make no sense whatsoever.

I read that bovine excrement that Chip put on here a while ago.  What an idiot.  Things never change.  The Judge already said that the west class does not get a seat at the table, therefore, the only way to make that happen would be if the East agrees to it.  If USAPA goes away, they still will not have any standing to require that they have separate representation.  I expect that the Judge will likely remove the footnote as requested by the company lawyers, but that has ZERO reason to cause any change in the Judge's order.  They STILL have no standing in the M/B process.  If the APA thinks that waiting or not agreeing to a protocol for the SLI protects them from lawsuits by the East pilots they are sadly mistaken, and you can take that to the bank.  The M/B law specifically excludes its use to combine members of the same CBA, that that CBA's merger process MUST be used.

Illegal job action? Gee more made up history to condone ALPA and the US pilots betrayal to the labor movement. Funny no one got disciplined, fired or a lawsuit filed by US against the IAM. Its called working by the book and we worked short handed as no one felt like working overtime, see in the CBA you couldnt be forced to work OT. And every time we had an incident of Pilots or FAs cleaning planes a Maintenance or Utility supervisor came out to the plane to witness it and/or get the employee names and numbers who were performing work not in their scope.

It was a different company then. Today you would have been in court, just like USAPA was.

You are getting paid back now. No 330 for you and huge upgrades East. It was an unethical move on your part. This entire mess could have been avoided.
