Hey, genius, did you read the line at the top asking to remove the author's name before forwarding?  That's a legal disclaimer which could put you and the BPR in some hot water.  I will assume you are both fat, and stupid.
The "remove name" request was above "original message"... That means the request was NOT part of the original message but instead was part of the forwarded (second message). The web poster did in fact delete the header information as requested before "forwarding" the message again onto the web forum.

Get a grip and slow down... Over reacting before you think gets people into embarrassing situations.. Like buying a $675 Liberty Neck Tie.

So, the east is scraping the bottom in hiring?
You have to have 500 hours with the company before you can upgrade under the East Contract and 1000 hours of Part 121 time per the FAR's.  If you come from the military, only 500 hours can count toward 121 time.  If you came from corporate or a Part 135 outfit, you'd need 1000 hours of 121 time before you can upgrade.

Nice attempt to smear US Airways new hires though.

28 unbid 767 international positions in PHL!

You know the payscale is messed up when even the new hires don't want to bid the 190 and commute to PHL.    I can see why the senior F/O's won't bid it,  kids in school,  commute blows, all to make 3 to 5 more bucks an hour...not worth it.

It's interesting that it is not worth it to the folks that have been here less than 5 years though,  that really makes a statement about how messed up the pay rate is on the 190.

A USAPA member's opinion that he has every right to voice. While some may think it doesn't reflect well on the individual member....

"some" in this case being anyone over the emotional age of at most 13 and possessed of an IQ number exceeding that of room temperature in a meat freezer, so no worries for "you'se" group's being both fully accepting and even amazingly proud of that infantile drivel. 😉

He's just angry that he can't bid it. Maybe the company will send 10 190s to PHX and 10 west A321s east. That would solve the problem and Ames would be happy!

There is a pretty good pay difference for 2nd year 190 capt vs 2nd year group to F/O. Is this a generational thing? First group of pilots that really don't chase the money?

Yep, he's drunk again.

"You'se" are, yet again, merely evidencing the intellectual deficit that prevented your even qualifying for med school. Good luck with your angry life in general, and you should give some serious thought (if possible) towards seeking help for your issues. Anyone harboring fantasies about wiping thousands of coworkers from the very earth in imaginary "true battle", as you've noted you do, should honestly seek help.

It is not the pay scale.  Many East FOs are just afraid to upgrade.  Trader feels comfy to have some compadres now.

The wait to be a line holder on the 320 is not that much now.  A line holding AB F/O 2nd year would make about the same as a reserve E190 captain.

Well, a small ray of sunshine is that this makes very clear just how woefully inadequate the pay is for the 190, and if it proves diffcult for management to fill those slots, that will clearly have to change, perhaps sooner than later.

+1

While some of the 20+ year f/os' may be leery of upgrading for whatever reason,  that does not explain what is happening.   From talking with people about it most spent so many years being bounced around bases that nobody wants anything to do with commuting again.

I made the decision about 8 years ago.  if I cannot hold it where I live I am not bidding it.   The schedules and pay scales degraded to the point that for me it was no longer worth it.   I removed everything from my permanent bid that was not CLT.   Too many years of sitting in too many crash pads and too many years of sleeping in my own bed 8 or 9 nights a month.   Over the years I saw PIT, BWI, PHL, DCA.....no more.    They would have to pay me a truckload of money to ever get me to commute again.

I may be forced to move somewhere else due to this merger at some point in the future,  but I am not going to bid myself back into a commute!  🙂

I hope you embrace Karma...

So many of you like to throw out Karma, but when I ask you what the west has done to have this land on their heads, no answer. That logic seems to escape you.

Only "seems to escape you"...? That's extremely gentle on your part. I've always had good chuckles from any/all west "Karma" fantasies. "That logic seems to escape you." doesn't even begin to address any possibly supposed..umm... "thinking" about why, while clearly being only the noblest ever of all God's Creations; they've nonetheless, in their own estimations, apparently been so vilely oppressed and supposedly persecuted for years now. 😉
