As an AA pilot, that pic is some serious scummy sheet.

These are your typical west pilots, at least they did not send you poop in the mail, a real bunch of low life's. Me thinks someone has already got a hold of HR.

"typical west pilots"? I'd submit that paints with too broad a brush. Even on this most acidic forum thread, we've seen very reasonable (if precious few) west posters, who in no way evidence themselves to be perpetually adolescent fools.
 
Per getting hold of HR; I'd not feel that to be at all appropriate, but then, I've always held this "fellow pilot" philosophy, and wouldn't much care to ever see anyone harmed by momentary foolishness, no matter how much of a disgusting, detestable and complete idiot I personally find them to be. "Let he who is without guilt cast the first stone", etc.

Rejecting a takeoff 30 feet in the air for a flat tire is improper....to say the least.

tony, the incident you referred to in your tweet and posted the picture above, just occurred recently and is still being investigated.   Your twitter says you are a "follower of Christ and father" but you passed judgment prematurely. 
 
A sincere apology on your twitter?  Are you really a commercial airline pilot for america west? 

I think he forgets that access to this forum is fairly easy and if he didn't forget this he needs to remember that the public does not care if this incident happened with  east pilots flying or for that matter  west pilots flying......it happened with US Airways pilots flying. It really would be best for both sides to stop airing dirty laundry in a forum such as this because the public might get the idea that there are a lot of incompetent and or criminal types that fly the airplanes. For what it's worth.

I have a feeling the company is not going to see the humor in his facebook and twitter posts that contain that picture/post.   Given the wording of the corporate policies concerning such things,   he may be needing USAPA to represent him sometime soon.
 
Posting garbage like that is just asking to get fired in this day and age.   That goes way beyond the east/west jabs and now directly affects the publics perception of safety regarding the airline.    Extremely stupid move on his part in my opinion.  If I were him I would be praying that juvenile post of his does not pass across a senior managers desk.

Is he a migs? I guess in theory that would not make a difference.

The picture on post 6067 is a re-post of what the original poster put on twitter and a Facebook page......if anyone thinks this is in any way proper.....there's nothing more I can say.

Twitter and Facebook- public domains. Can be legally re posted the same as any other article placed online. Perhaps some thought should take place before pictures of a serious accident are placed online with ADDED comments.

And the really scary part is that, once it goes on the internet (especially Facebook) it is FOREVER.  If this poster is a US Airways employee, he/she will sure have some 'splainin' to do.

Well, not necessarily typical actions, but a fairly prevalent attitude.  They have not sent you poop through the mail yet simply because they think you are their friend ("The enemy of my enemy...USAPA...is my friend.")  Once you make it clear to them that you don't believe that they saved your job, and you don't feel they are entitled to super-seniority by saving your job, i.e. they want your 777 seats, then they will begin to send you poop (of sorts) too.

I was very surprised at the comments from his supposed friends, one being a West Rep, being positive about this. Absolutely reprehensible.
