Parties Seize on Abortion Issues in Midterm Race

"Aware that their candidates at times have struck the wrong tone on issues of women’s health, Republicans in some states are now framing abortion in an economic context, arguing, for example, that the new federal health law uses public money to subsidize abortion coverage. In the House in the coming weeks, Republicans will make passing the “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act” one of their top priorities this year."

Still have not answered the question regarding the point of the original post.

So now the republicans do not care about the moral issue just the finacial one?  Pretty sure independant women won't fall for that one either.

More than likely.  SO much for the moral high ground.  Not that they have had that possition for quite some time.  Gingrich saw to that and it went down hill from there.

I say abortion is right if the welfare queens take advantage of it. Morally, I don't give a damn as long as it keeps children out of poverty!

Bite me, libs!

55 million abortions since Roe V Wade......

demographics ought to help them get close on that

Abortions should not be used as a contraceptive device/option.
Other than that, there should be special circumstances. Unfortunately, most laws are binary (black/white) and don't account for gray areas.

JMHO,
B) xUT

Now you bring blacks and whites into the mix and leave the room discussing grays which is a direct inference to Aliens.
