I did not say they would choose a nonstop. I specifically referred to single connections via a circuitous routing and RJs such as via IAH to get to the east coast from Germany.

experience in int'l ticketing or reservations would validate the data.

All your doing is posting your conclusions about how common or uncommon something is based on your prejudiced opinion.
BTW - nice qualifier throwing IAH into the discussion, as if that was the only * alliance hub in the USA that one can connect to travelling Germany-south east USA.  Yeah, you're so "whole truth" there buddy ... ...
