Does anyone know the particulars of the F/A test attendance agreement that is scheduled to begin November 1st in MIA and SFO?
Thanks.

I am hoping it something to do with people actually showing up for work when they ar supposed to but I am guessing that is too much to ask for

Thanks for that comment Garfield(the movie), that reminded me that my FLU shot is due, ...AND.. that means that It's FLU season,...AND...that means that a lot of AAers(ESPECIALLY customer contact F/A's will get sick(somewhere) between the last week in Noverber, through the first week into January.

Do these "people" include management? Maybe we can all get an AA management type deal with comp time so when your sick you never have to use any sick days? Deal?

Or maybe management should do away with the comp time scam, and make it fair for all. How about a twu type half-pay deal for the first two days? I can hear the management sniveling now.

As everyone should know by now, AA management is never sick or injured. 🙄

I was witness to my ex-supervisors 15 years of "perfect attendance" BS plAAques on his office wall. A large by huge lie I used to love to hammer him on. Mr. Worthless was never at work more than two consecutive days because he had the "brown bottle flu" or we had a bad night with broken aircraft/drop-ins and he had to go home/bar.....too much pressure. Then again, we really didn't need him anyway, he just pissed everyone off with his moronic incompetence.

Depends on what holiday it is.

Remember no more double time and a half.

I'd rather be home 😛

So I guess no one knows....

BTW Garfield, it is the start of flu season and I have already caught my first major sinus infection. Try working in a pressurised tube where people blow their noses on their napkins and then hand them to you.
Oh, but don't worry, I went to work sick. But I am sure during Christmas I won't be as charitable. You are definately an ####.

AAS, be glad you don't have our twu (Mechanic @ Related title one only) half-pay for two day special, this nearly guarantees sick twu title 1 employees showing up for work. Not many can afford the $250 paycut on top of the 17.5%. This great idea helps spread the flu so everyone gets the "Shared Sacrifice". We make sure this especially includes management. 😉

Garfield hates all union workers, so don't feel offended AAS. I just wish he was over with us, that would be fun.
But really, you FA's can have the beyatich.

With that kind of attitude I find it hard that you could be charitable to anyone at anytime.

Garfield is just stating a fact. During the Holidays the sick list jumps through the roof. No one knows whos is actually sick or who is not sick. It is just frustrating trying to help put a full compliment of F?A on a flight and going out short because a shortage of flight attendants. If that shortage is due to not recalling or to unexplained rise in sick calls I dont know But it is frustrating on all ends.

Garfield was not talking about holiday time, he was talking about anytime. I have always said AA has bred a culture of contempt between workgroups, and this board just proves it. If you guys would work with us and treat us with respectsas adults should be, you would get the same respect in return. I am hoping that is what this new attendance agreement is about, but I doubt it.

What exactly does "work with us" entail?

Normally that means "do what works for me right now" which ends up with someone getting the screws put to 'em.

If you have AA Jetnet or APFA website access log in and take a look at this new test policy. (SFO/MIA Base page) Remember that the ACC, (Attendance Control Policy) has NEVER been a contractual issue. In this case we (APFA) had an opportunity to help shape AA policy that might benefit everyone involved.
