Have no problem Readynow saying bad faith by the TWU, none at all.

What I do have a huge problem with is him/her suggesting the company lock us out
and contract out all our jobs.

If you agree with that, then all I can say is, well, enjoy your beer.

Regarding Cabin Services, the TWU agrees to create Title 2 in Fleet Service with the express purpose of filling the exact number of jobs being lost by the contract's implementation.

They agree to a paltry 25 K buyout instead of a year's salary. ( why should a part time clerk get the same buyout as a full time clerk ?).

It's a win win for the union's coffers, a lose lose for it's outgoing members. :angry:
 
Regardless of your opinion regarding either agreement, this has to show everyone a clear "top down" dictatorship that disregards the membership, the local leadership, and everyone esle involved.

You are completely wrong in your assessment. The change came because they did HEAR the calls from the Membership, Local Leadership and internal opinion. Whatever the overall opinion of the man is, in this instance he acted upon the wishes of the majority.

As said by Mark Twain, there are lies, damned lies, and then statistics. Not sure as to where this fits but it's certainly one of them - this appears to be straight from the moving lips of a non-accountable International lovely. All that's at issue here is which one of too many is posting the lies?

We, the workers paying dues, can get this manner of deal straight from the company for free, not paying your damnable dues and supporting a group of New York twits. You have delivered no value for the money we've paid for years.

Regarding your comment's reference to "the wishes of the majority" - you are, of course, referring to the majority in the International and AMR/Centrepork infestations who aren't subject to your dealings, are you not?

When will Jim Little listen to the calls from the membership, local leadership and internal opinion with respect to the Maintenance & Related?

It is clear that the TWU is approaching their own internal tipping point with respect to concessionary contracts and the ability to impose them WHILE retaining representational status over those affected.

leadership here said that this contract was going to get voted down by over 80% and that's why the TWU INTL pulled it back to add one or two more things to it before it packages it back to the membership. I'm sure the airline lapdog union will find a way to screw it up more.

Anything that contains "Dayline Cabin Cleaner" and the age discriminatory prefunding abomination is a non starter.

The mediator can go play in traffic for all I care.
