AA vs Strip club

Worst thing that might happen if someone from HDQ was high or drunk is they might have a few more typos in an email (which the spell checker will no doubt pick up). The most dangerous tools at their disposal are a photocopier or a stapler.

I didnt see a subway station, a taxi cab or a bus anywhere in sight when I was at HDQ but I sure did see a lot of cars. Are you saying its safe to operate a car when you are under the influence?

Good point, and no, it's not safe to operate anything while under the influence. Personally, I gave up alcohol and smoking years ago, and really don't think too much about those who can't get survive the day without one or both... Never really cared much for sitting in a room with a bunch of guys watching skanky women on a stage, either.

I think AA management is afraid that too many management people who do not punch a time clock will spend too much time at the club. Maybe they are afraid that some of the AA F/A's might have moonlighting jobs at the club.

I doubt AA management is concerned about managers spending to much time at the club.

AA is the typical airline. Outside of the pilots and the mechanics, there is probably a 90% chance that the male demographics of AA's workforce has little interest in what is slithering around a pole at Rick's Cabaret.

The pilots will have little interest because even the B777 Captains would be too humiliated if trying to impress a 25 year old stripper that makes twice as much as them, and they are too old physically to even try. Most find a golf club on a public course more exciting. The FO's surely don't have the money and if they are into that scene, they can spend 1/3 as much and get twice the talent down in South America.

For Rick's to target the AMR market is like Dickey's BBQ focusing on a new restaurant in Riyadh. 🙄

The only real issue has always been about the image it portrays. With the exception of the church groups, nobody has complained about bars or even strip bars in the area before, as long as they're not in an area where it will devalue the real estate or companies nearby. That was the real issue behind some of the protests over Hooters a few years back.

If they tried doing this across the street from Jerry Jones' new stadium, you'd hear the same uproar. Likewise if it were at the entrance to Irving Mall, Six Flags, First Baptist of Euless, or Grapevine Mills. But nobody complains about existing strip clubs less than a mile away from some of those places just mentioned.

How would APFA feel if this went up next door to their HDQ? on Highway 10?... I don't think they'd be any more amused about the image that would portray.

the real issue: they won't take aadvantage miles 🙂

All the whores at Centerport did not devalue that area or real estate. They just devalued and ruined our once proud aiirline!

One might ask the question of which corporation, AMR or Rick's Cabaret, is a convicted felon?

Rick's might want to be concerned with their image when they choose a site.
