The winners of the first quarter drawing have been posted on the Hub. Has anyone taken the time to look thru the names?? I am curious about two the the 10K winners. Anyone have any info?

The two who work at CHQ?

One is a HR Manager and One is a Yield Analyst! I am sure the fix is in (not)!

By the way I know one person that won and they are just a regular low level run of the mill employee, who deosn't know anybody.

Look on The Hub in About US for the 23 April, then look for A&B winners!!

I did listen to the webcast and when I heard somebody had won the $10K and when Parker mentioned   Sceptre   in the same sentence as why the person was nominated I got ill!!!!!!  Unless or course the suggestion was to dump it!!!

Just looked all over the hub, what section is it under?
Click on State of the Airline webcast...
once you do that there is a link to all of the winners..

I had at least 20 of those things in there.... have never won anything...

How in the heck do you get an A&B certificate filled out by a frequent flyer or anyone else when you're sittiing on your arse in an office in HQ ??????

I hear a Philadelphia inflight supervisor won $10,000 through that drawing the last time. I about fell out when I read his name because when I was based there he was miserable in the crew service center. Abrupt and acts like he has no time to even speak to you. Everyone says the same thing about him but guess that wins you 10 grand around here.

I guess your chances increase by the number of A&B coupons that are turned in, and if you are the one who issues out the coupons......Go Figure.....

I have lost complete faith in the A&B program. What was suppose to reward front line employees has turn somewhere that I do NOT see as good!! How on earth a desk job trumps a front line employee is above and beyond me!! Poor, poor, poor!

So, someone sitting at a desk for 8 hours analyzing yield or trying to hire talent and doing the endless paperwork and background checks and interviews doesn't work hard? Granted, they aren't throwing bags or working at a gate, but, don't you think that someone who is a specialist in a job like that doesn't work hard? Mind you, a recruiter at an airline makes a fraction of what one makes at a non airline, and they are subject to be the first position to be laid off in a recession, but you don't think they work hard? They have to understand and follow an amazing maze of federal laws, and they have to make judgments on whether someone can succeed at the job they are hiring for. This job and the yield analyst job involves lots of computer work, lots of analysis and judgment. Not stuff that you can take anyone off the street and have do a quality job. Sure, you can train for it, but its not as easy as you think.

I think the front line employee has a tough job, and I applaud them, but I think you are ignorant on other jobs, spend a few weeks in their shoes, you might learn something. This kind of mentality is not good for anyone. Be happy when someone else succeeds, it is not a reflection on what you do.

In addition to Elites giving them out, Directors can give a few out each month also. That was done to included the whole company not just FA's and Gate Agents, (As it was done in the old AWA days). Having worked both sides of the operation I think it is a good thing to include the entire company to some degree. In my current Job I can have a direct impact on the operation but never see a customer.

I know they work hard, but the company gave the impression that the A&B was a way to reward the front line employee from the FF and NOT fellow employees. I guess I was wrong! Good for those who won. I just feel this should had been better communicated. With the info discover the last two days, the chances of winning ANYTHING are small, so why bother?! Sorry, still turned off no mattter how you paint it or explain it!

Question:
Does anyone know if the freq. flyers name & account num. must be on the cert. when turned in ?

Harry, maybe one of the hard working $10,000 A&B winners could answer THAT question since some of us were too stupid to know the rules in the first place! I frankly do not know.
