The 787/A350 without PW engines probably doesn't appeal to UA too much. I'd suspect the first to get PW on board will be in the drivers seat.NW has ordered the 787, has UA?

No UA orders. Their combined 777/767/747 fleet is around 118. They have some time to push out their orders if/when they decide to start replacing.Thats what I'm thinking. Its all about the next merger as usual. NW has ordered the 787, has UA?
Well this is GOOD News! However given the level of trustworthyness of this regime I'll be a whole lot more excited when a brand spaking new Dreamliner rolls up to the B/C councourse in PHL with US livery![]()
IF true this will be the only smart thing this new JOKERS from TEMPE did right!!
HA HA HAYeah, what can you say about a management team that was stupid enough to buy you guys for dimes on the dollar out of BK court. <_<
In a recent Crew News session in PHX Doug Parker said the B787 would be available for delivery in 2011 and the A350 in 2013.
He indicated one of the benefits of the B787 is that it would permit US Airways to not have a single source supplier, which would continue to help having two manufacturers bid against one another.
He did not mention how this would effect the upcoming narrowbody order.

last Boeing widebody came in i bet 13-14 years ago !!!
GO 787 !
Yeah they are 200's. 2009-2010.Don't we still have a firm order for the A330? I think ten new A/C are still in the firm delivery que regardless of the A350.
That's what I thought. So it looks like we at least doubling our widebody fleet size and it will be:Yeah they are 200's. 2009-2010.
