Federal District Court is where it has to be filed, it will probably be moved, only Federal Courts can hear things that are done under the RLA.

What makes you comfortable with an Arbitrator determining the accurate seniority list and status of AAA pilots (in contradiction to ALPA's certified list) when none of the AAA pilots submitted to the arbitrator for that purpose?

Just like a judge would rule he has no jurisdiction when appropriate I would expect an arbitrator not to rule on that which he is not entitled to by ALPA Policy. Why would he deliberately make his job more complicated by tackling something he doesn't have to?

Of course there was a mechanism to protest it.

Please quote from the Bylaws what mechanism that is. I don't think you'll find anything other than binding arbitration.

Does this court have an ability to divert cases into Alternative Dispute Resolution or Mediation? Some do.

What was the DOH of the most junior Captain at MDA? Relative seniority might work out better for the East than strict DOH if the most junior MDA Captain is slotted with the most junior West Captain.
