The "Pension Problem" is what is holding up everything. The IAM will never truly allow the company to get out of the plan by virtue of a CBA.
Uh huh.

Weez, why aren't the TWU peeps attending this IAM Pension meeting?
C'mon weezal! How can you possibly ask someone to support the NC when they never give the membership all the information? It was the co. that passed out all the information NOT the asso. or the NC, get a clue dude. And you don’t think the Company was so adamantly pushed to release what they were offering as part of a larger game plan for everyone to officially see for themselves just how chitty all of it was?
C’mon Metal why don’t you just ONCE support your Negotiators?
the company only passed out the info because of all of the lies by Mr Baskett and other wealthy union bosses. Thankfully, all of weezals and basket's lies about the 'when and where' directed including bagroom and bag running was finally exposed.C'mon weezal! Yes on "Jetnet". Perspective dear Weez. But I guess nobody can stop you from taking things out of context. But admittedly, the company proposal had some strong points that the union persons claimed were fake and it blinded a lot of members. So who really knows how a vote would go? Robbed could be right. Either way, the company needs to know where the employees stand. And the whole alleged "Switch on" campaign, is just typical collateral damage for the company, according to Fly, that hasn't affected things as much as some may think. Peterson has lost control of his mechanics, especially nobody in TUL likes him.
Based on that proposal i can tell u dca is a resounding no vote solely based on scope med n other issues. We should vote though, Robbed.
I think its a big yes for fleet but if it is a big no then the company knows where we collectively stand.
I would gladly support them had I had the chance to vote on them. And you don’t think the Company was so adamantly pushed to release what they were offering as part of a larger game plan for everyone to officially see for themselves just how chitty all of it was?

LMFAO!!! Thanks for the laughter weezal. Allow me to repost the part that I am referring to;
"You have heard me say many times that it is important to stay educated and informed during these times. Do Not be going on hearsay. But find out the facts from the people that know what's going on."
Even later on in this letter he even says, "I can't go into any further details until after an upcoming meeting." Really? At the same time he says to be informed and not listen to rumors. Now that is just some funny shite!!!
And look who it took to get this "more detailed" information out there. Not the officers, not the asso., not the membership, but it was in fact the co. that forced them to get more info out, how pathetic.
I would gladly support them had I had the chance to vote on them.
You can cut and paste til you're blue in the face. I never had a chance to vote on the ASSociation like was told to me.You voted on them by proxy when you filled out your original Job application. Perhaps you should have read the TWU Constitution before you agreed to work for AA.
Same thing with the IAM and by proxy the TWU/IAM Association, Affiliation, Arrangement, Partnership, Relationship, Whatever.
Such is life, Cest La Vie.

Nope. And you never will either. That’s reality no matter how much you want to ***** about it.
And hence, this is the problem with two unions sharing membership! They have their wants and we have ours. And here we go again. Mark Baskett is the IAM AGC for CLT. The IAMNPF just announced benefit cuts and his members (In CLT) are asking questions for what that all means. So he’s gathering that information for HIS Membership (In CLT) to try to give them some answers.
That update was put out for HIS Membership. I just shared all of it here.
Stop looking for the them vs us in everything that’s posted.
You’re making 90% of all of that up in your own head.
So there will be no support for them since I was denied a say in their existence!Nope. And you never will either. That’s reality no matter how much you want to ***** about it.
