Weasel wth do you care? If you love the IAM so much go pull their pants down and go to work, if you haven't already. Matter fact, transfer to clt and go work for damn usair. I can admit that you bring out some good points from time to time but the reality is that you are a damn traitor and could care less about your own guys. This merger hasn't done chit for LAA because these clowns like rez and cb and whoever else are making decisions they have no business making. Then you show up cheerleading them on like you at the damn yankees game. They are all IGMers and don't give 2 chits about you or anything AA. so the first chance I get to vote rez and his posse off the island i'm going to do it with pleasure. their catering, their medical and whatever else will go up in smoke because none of them ever felt any remorse for holding AAers hostage. to hell with em'...cant wait to see rez actually lifting a damn bag for a change lol, cuz he has no business negotiating anything for anyone!

Fascinating how you think they have control over what the Company offers them. And if you’re in LAX you’re not going to have any vote to effect Rez or CB anyway as you’re in the TWU.

And I can’t STAND fools such as yourself who have to make this into a contest of them vs us. Fools who play right in to the Company’s hands over and over and over again without fail.

Smdh, this isn't about IAM vs. TWU, we are fighting for all. Mark my words, you will regret this pos offer from the company.

P. Rez

You said that the Company has last proposed your IAM Language to be implemented for the entire collective here.

Rez why don’t you explain to the LAA Members what that could potentially mean to our side if a 40% Systemwide Cap were to come to pass?

LAA posters here. This is the IAM language in their Contract for Part Time. Now go look at the TWU Contract and you tell me which language we want?

This 1 Paragraph is ALL they got.

that $65k may be a king's ransom in birmingham, ala...but i find it unrealistic if you're under 65/health care and if aa truly wants the dead weight to go away, i believe they will be somewhat disappointed.

If you’re close enough in age anyway that 65k for Fleet will put you over the edge. Maybe some use it for Medical or maybe some have other plans. Like going to another Country, using their Wife’s insurance or just foregoing period?

Besides I think once all the Contracts are in place their could be even more buyouts in other groups to bring down the High cost employees even more over time.

If this latest edition is still soooooo bad, it should be very easy to show all of us why it's soooooo bad.

Show us all the really really bad things the company did not put on Jetnet and make your case against this.
The membership deserves as much and we deserve it today, not next week or next month.

PRez, CB, the rest of the NC ~ make your case why this is a horrible horrible offer.
Continued crickets from the NC on this won't be acceptable.
Show us ALL of it.

I'm fine with putting it out for a vote, after reading the full text of everything involved.
I'm fine if it gets voted down.
I'm fine if it gets voted in.
But lets vote, I know thats a foreign concept for the Association.

The membership has waited long enough, we need to see where we are, today.

"Mark my words" you words are meaningless here, I have come to an affinity, let this go to sections 6, because I will enjoy getting the same offer seeing the reaction on all the faces of the LUS when health, catering and maybe a few other goodies are ripped from their collective white knuckled death grip. I do have to place some blame on the TWU also, because they are also withholding the truth also. Not disclosing that the two sides are at a impasse, and a few other things.

I see you looked at the Company’s purdy PDF’s and saw that $76K and you’re knees turned into Spaghetti.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Money man. GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!

to me, the company is getting close, i wanted $32.50/hr not counting differential, looks like we'll be around there with differential...not a fan of contracting out lavs and need more info on the evil empire's PT scheme. they want a system-wide 60%-40% blend FT/PT for all fleet service?

i also do not like aa's $3k for everyone. i prefer some fscs getting $5k and other fscs getting $1k. sorry, but you'll make it up and more after i'm long gone.

i didn't know that ua & dl were already at double time for any overtime worked? this is huge for some...i'm thinking the company could be giggling about deicing and overtime and then a city will step in and tell aa that the city will deice at city pads.

talking to people today, this seems to be a winner for the company. looks like TOS will be around $35.25...for me, close, but no cigar.

There’s a few areas that will affect us (TWU) that I need to see tweaked, there’s a few areas that affect them (IAM) I need to see tweaked and there’s a few areas that affect (ALL) of us that I need to see tweaked before I can say that I like the deal I’m looking at.

There is no them vs us to me cause we’re all going to be under one contract at the end of the day and who knows where I may want to transfer to in the future and which Union hat someone is going to hand to me.

And your "No" vote will be recorded, along with the rest of the memberships sentiments.
Thats how the democratic process works We...
Not "Lets wait until the language is acceptable to WeAAsles" before we vote on it...

lax,

I would like to know how LUS folks are holding AAers hostage?

Ultimately you’re not unless your Negotiators had been willing to capitulate for the last 2 1/2 years trying to put together, save or improve the language that we’re going to live under for the rest of our careers and that will more than likely far outlive us as people too.

The Economic package talks only just came up a few flippin months ago.

Yep, because all the rest of the contract has been diligently tweaked and I'm quite sure we will have the very best bulletin boards and uniforms in the industry...
Now lets vote and either send the company an overwhelming message of "make it better"
or, it passes and we get em next time.

I am doubling down on this post. with minor grammar corrections.

If you guys think the Company did this on their own. You do not know your representation.
Sito and Alex have had closed door meetings with Parker and Isom, these enhancements are the result.
They have not included the negotiating committee, but will tell them that this will need to be put out for vote and let the members decide.
A vote no will give us more leverage. (knowing very well this will pass with flying colors on AA side).

HAD ENOUGH YET.

First this thing just came out yesterday afternoon so chill out.
Second this isn’t even an official proposal yet so chill out.
Third no one has officially said this is a horrible horrible offer yet so chill out.
Fourth this is still only a tester proposal designed to tailor just the right offer so the Company doesn’t overspend on deals so chill out.

Chill out period. The desperate people are the ones the Company wants to get to so they can save a couple of bucks.

You desperate people over the long term are going to cost me money and costing the Weez money just ain’t cool. So chill the F out.

And your "No" vote will be recorded, along with the rest of the memberships sentiments.

Not "Lets wait until the language is acceptable to WeAAsles" before we vote on it...

CHILL OUT. What’s wrong with you?

If Bulletin Boards and Uniforms is all you ever need concern yourself about in your career than you Sir are one lucky lucky lucky SOB.

A lot more things in those TA’s they worked on that I’m going to be looking over myself though.

Anyway are you chill yet?

So PRez commented on Jetnet:
"‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍There are several reasons this isn't a good offer:
1. Thousands of jobs will disappear through attrition/buy outs.
2. (a)The Company will pocket money because of loss of jobs,
(b)loss of LUS insurance
(c)and loss of LUS pension.
3. Profit sharing dismal compared to DL/UA.
This is a piece of garbage offer."
So Weaase~ apparently PRez is saying it's horrible horrible~

#1 does't negatively affect anyone on the property ~wether you like it or not.
#2 (a) Thats how it works, they give us huge raises, they get something in return. If they continue to make bank, those left the next time around get more and better huge raises.
(b) LAA insurance not a big difference for the vast majority , it should not be the reason we don't vote
(c) LUS pension not "Lost", it's frozen, just like LAA and the 401k has been enhanced, it's up to each individual member to decide if its in their best interest going forward, but each member would get vote on this. What I found interesting is the current LAA 401K is a better deal than the scam IAMPF.
#3 Please lay out the dismal difference for all to see, saying so doesn't make it so.
Show me.

Ok P Rez, if thats your case, without seeing the rest of the contract, I'm calling it weak, but please show us the whole thing and let the membership decide after waiting several years now, which direction we go from here.
