Credibility-- is when the Membership and N/C are in lock-step, as was just demonstrated in the CLT and PHX stations. Credibility-- is when an officer, or a member of the N/C comes on here (in a public forum no less), and offers his personal attention to your concerns. Credibility-- is when that same officer does not spin, distort, and otherwise attempt to forward a personal agenda, and/or narrative. Especially, when he places himself at great risk of being chastised, ridiculed, and reported to the DOL by Tim Nelson.

On the other hand-- the complete lack of credibility is apparent when one attempts to divide the membership, attempts to instill fear in the membership, and attempts to convince the membership to follow them, as opposed to the actual elected leaders.

You have spent an incredible amount of time in these forums (approximatly 6.5 post per day)...
Virtually ALL of those posts have been biased toward acknowledgment, and support for Tim Nelson, along with his narrative. Clearly, the membership as a whole is not interested, so why do you keep it up? What's in this for you? Why do you devote hours per day in here attempting to convince everyone to acknowledge Nelson as their leader?

I'm not calling you stupid cause you're not but you are incredibly naive. The negotiators dont want their names on updates what does that tell you? I dont support anyone, Tim is Tim the first letter I received from OUR union was a letter basically telling members not to listen to a certain individual.Of course they didn't mention him by name but that individual was Tim .Years later they gave him a job hopefully to shut him up.What does that tell you.

You subscribe to the entire Nelson narrative -- I know of no one in CLT that supports this ideology. Actually, the only people that are even aware of him, are older than 55! The younger groups don't care who is, much less what he is saying. Now... what does that tell YOU?!

You guys spend hours a day in here attempting to convince everyone to follow your agenda-- that "tells" us volumes! I can tell you with 100% certainty, it's NOT working! The current ELECTED leadership was chosen by the membership. There is NO huge wave of discontent to change them like you would have us believe.

Lastly, the membership reserves to right to reject any contract negotiated, and sent to them for ratification. This means that your "crooked union narrative" is moot, even it were to be true!

Yes we do have the final say, getting there will show the negotiators true colors whether they want to hold on to their cushy positions or be true to members. After the UAL debacle ill wait and judge myself. The fact that the executive team took over and the negotiators said they don't mind also raises doubts with me.I have close to zero ego and I would have minded to be sure

If you had "Zero Ego" -- you would not engage in hours of postings here and elsewhere every day...
That tells me your ego drives an agenda, and visa versa -- Again... What is in this for you? You have almost as much time vested in these forums to have another part-time job!

It only takes a second to post and I dont normally read your essays. All this is entertainment to me thats it

To those out there that are getting a little “frustrated” I guess your SOOL. I don’t think this comment can be any clearer?

“We understand the membership’s frustration with the time it is taking to reach this JCBA, but we will not negotiate a concessionary agreement just to complete the process.”

That's ironic coming from you. C'mon.

Its dimwits like this that make this such a toxic place.

And you basically asked why I and other mechanics are taking the course we are?

I actually understand completely although you guys have honestly been trying to make the course happen now for well over 30 years. So there’s always one reason or another.

This time I think it’s more that many of you guys are ok with contractually giving up work and taking an agreement that keeps you in your Stations till you retire.

But if you read Dale’s update it seems to me as if he hasn’t gotten all of those details yet and I’m sure doesn’t just trust the Company’s word.

We’ve all been around long enough now to know that the Company (Management) never lives up to what they claim publicly is their intentions.

Piedmont has zero credibility. Hell, we don't even know who it is but I'm almost certain who it is.

He can put all fhe AGC's from CLT together and there would be no credibility in organizing. They have no idea what they are doing and never grew the IAM even though that is one of their 2 job functions constitutionally. My credibility as an organizer is massive. That's why my job title was.

As far as credibility in negotiations, mine is massive. The credibility of negotiations for the CLT AGC's is zero. They were the last line of defense in the eboard vote to approve the United contract. They failed. They all approved unlimited part time and 400% increases in health care.

Fairbanks is useless and an anti union management shill. Baskett is at least personable but has bitterness in him that has caused me to rethink his motives and I had to legally correct him twice. Not that I wanted to, I gave him a heads up here, and he shook his fist at the members, so I had no choice but to B slap him again.

Just dumb I guess but nobody can stop his bitterness.

At any rate, in negotiations, they have been found with zero credibility. In Organizing, zero. In enforcing contract, also zero as I had to remind Mr Baskett that the 10 hour workday fits nicely when grieving back to back part time. To this day, he has been 'unresponsive' and is incredibly uneducated on case study and therefore has to yield to others who say "You can't grieve this". Morons, we have morons on our team!

And, of course, instead of saying that he won't keep the door shut on the LUS health care, he ask you to call him, which telegraphs his true motives. Hint: The public answer should have been HELL NO.

If an agreement is signed in months as opposed to years the rumbling will for the most part end and another attemp will fail but I dont blame them If I was an AMT I would have wanted a change when they started to shift MTC work to fleet

Tim would our negotiation team go against Sito or are they loyal to him or afraid of losing their jobs for speaking up as you did

Its dimwits like this that make this such a toxic place.
If calling out deceptive, fear instilling, and divisionary tactics makes me dimwit, then yes.... I'm dimwit, and I'll remain a dimwit...

It's interesting that this forum is only "TOXIC" when the Nelson agenda is questioned...
It's NOT toxic, when the union leadership is slandered, with no recourse, or way to defend themselves without Nelson reporting them to the DOL!
It's NOT toxic, when anyone in here (like 700 for instance), is called a criminal, and he can't defend himself, or his reputation because, someone strategically
had him thrown off the site...
It's NOT toxic, when Tim Nelson degrades a members children, and calls him, along with everyone else a moron, that will not agree with him...
It's NOT toxic when Nelson calls posters here liars, morons, and union paid trolls, simply because they wont bow to his disinformation campaign.
