Tim. What’s up with you talking to yourself so much on these pages?

Will you also be calling this group AMP?

“The Association of Moronic People” or
“The Association of Mental Patients” or the one I like best.

“The Association of Mental Pigmies”

I can only assume pissing money away on all these failed attempts over the years have been tax deductible

Ill check in from time to time to give updates but there really wont be much to discuss since the Association botched things and a section 6 contract wont be had for years.

Code for... "I'll check back from time to time (every few minutes) to submit my handlers requests... They will mostly be diversionary red herrings, half truths, outright falsehoods, and spun propaganda-- all tilted toward discrediting the unions"...

Tim, what's up with the Mars rover Opportunity, will it reawaken after the dust storm?

AMP = Androgynous Multiple Personalities?

If you work for American Airlines you sir are STUPID!

You must not be paying attention, if the wrong person gets a hold of your post and runs to HR you are GONE.

My advice to you, would be to retract this comment yesterday. If you think I am joking good luck.

Tim,

You speak of no leverage, I think you are missing one key piece of leverage. It's no secret that the company wants to outsource several thousands of jobs as Fleet Service and Maintenance employees retire. Think about it, how much money are they spending by not having that ability to outsource! An employee told me they saw Isom say in a town hall $2 million a day it costs the company by not having a JCBA. 3000 employees is over a million a day in wages and benefits. I'll leave it with one of my favorite sayings, "Math is math, numbers don't lie!"

I for one do not feel for mgmt. Those greedy self centered idiots want want want but they do not want to reciprocate. In this modern era making billions n billions annually. Despite parker stating employees wld have leading contracts they sure as h€!! dont or wont even give a half decent proposal.

Hi Prez
Yes, the company wants some things so we had leverage to get the company to make an offer. That offer was a cost positive offer of over $100 million per year and boosted the FTE over $100,00 ttl cost which is far more than at United.
Thus, due to that offer (and im not saying its great), we have no remaining leverage, due to the math.
We can thank Sito for killing our "Competitive Leverage" when he pushed that United contract.

So, when the Association ask for more, there is zero leverage. Isom will keep whispering United.

Since the TWU has such an awful contract, Parker was compelled to offer a competitive package. But thats all he needs to offer. In the meantime, Im sure he has no problem saving millions if the association is more greedy than its leverage suggests.
Toss in the fact that the TWU got their dues grab by trading our merger leverage for 20 pieces of silver so the company can have seamlessness.

The last offer was also reflective of the economy insomuch that it was cost positive. How much are we going to have to give back if the economy goes south like most democrats are saying?

There is no leverage that can enhance the last offer. Members should be given a chance to vote, otherwise if the economy goes south and the next offer necessarily goes south...who will be to blame? Yes, you guys for not getting consent when you decided you can get more.
The longer this goes, the deeper the hole.

You still seeing Tim Nelson ghost behind every handle you dont like?
As far as the new union, not sure what its Prez is going to call it. Ill most likely assist in organizing. Ive recommended to them to stay away from the Association.

As far as the association, i really hope you are right that we will get more. But from what I can tell, there remains zero leverage to enhance the offer, therefore that suggest the association offer is greedy insomuch that it isnt coupled with the leverage that is needed.

I mean, with the cutbacks in the NMB, we may get in one useless session before january then maybe 6 sessions a year. So where is this going?
Even the NMB wasnt so subtle by basically blowing the association off.

“Association of Mental Pigmies” Yes, yes that’s the one. Vote count, 770 to 20.
