Per our current contract as of 9/14/14 a topped out agent was getting 23 there was a true up a year later don’t recall what it went to then

They can do that brother are your out of line brother good old twu sayings
I was gonna give you a "funny" as far as the quote goes, but then I didn't want to disrespect anyone that is really tired of this asso.
I still am amazed they have shown any member the offer currently, they say, is on the table. And they have had this suppose offer for some time now.
You guys need to start a slogan, instead of "where's the beef"--- "where's the offer" "show us the offer" and send to the asso.

Al you think all these years he’s been raking in the bucks he hasn’t grown one hell of a nice nest egg? Dude has to be swimming in Grand Lodge Pension and IRA wads. And he started his career a year before you in 1977 BTW.

Hate to use this page but even TN was on here for a few little years there.

Those salaries are exorbitant.Another reason why Tim is hated within the IAM if elected he was going to adjust the executive's salary structure to much lower rates

Even so I saw a proposal on jetnet the union said the company is not showing the fine print well perhaps the union can show us.

Seems to be a reading comprehension issue here on Forums.

Outside of the proposal presented to the Company in December 2015 minus the now TA’d articles and filling in the numbers on what was asked for in wages and what the Company presented on Jetnet/Workbrain, the fine print language has not been put into a “proposal” documented format.

You (ALL here) can chose to believe them or not and frankly here it doesn’t matter anyway but Negotiators themselves have said there are no more back and forth proposals and everything from here on out is “verbally” communicated until full agreements for the total are reached.

I will say though that the Association should communicate this out to the Membership for full clarity.

A lot of people think you and I earn an exorbitant salary too Al. And BTW IMO if a Union guy even earned $1.00 I’m sure you would find that unreasonable too.

wow..so this merger has meant a 50% pay raise for you, along with keeping your insurance for the short term?

the negative trade-off is rotating days off?
How much of a pay raise did you get.How much per hour while you were in bankruptcy??

What we make is about right up here in this market.Could it be done for less?yup but you can say that about most jobs.Spare me your comparison charts please i never read them or look at your videos

Didn’t think the “Jokeman” had a nerve that could be hit honestly.

Anyway irrelevant doesn’t matter at all what you “chose” to look at or not. Facts still don’t lie and the market average for what you do for a living runs at around $13 per hour. Unskilled Labor roughly $24,000 per year.

You make WAY more than that for reasons you ignore and give no credit to. Again facts don’t lie.

Our raises were at the expense of other lost items in our contract. IE: Higher Medical costs, frozen fixed cost Pension obligations, Retiree Medical, Station closures and Cabin Service work.

And until the givebacks changed from 20% of the total Contract expense down to 17% we were actually taking a .42 cent per hour giveback in Fleet and PT was going to pay Double for Medical.

The raises came from the 3% “me too” as the easiest item to distribute back to the Membership expeditiously.

thks Weez I don’t know how to do all that stuff here

You’re welcome rat. And I’m sorry but I can’t find our 03 agreement online to compare the rates from the time we took our cuts. I know in wages we’ve always been a little higher than you but I don’t think it’s been anywhere over $1.00 and personally I don’t think when you tally it up any of the “Major” Airline groups are too far off in compensation?

One bouncing above the other and so on until the next jump.

I know on thing... Weez...

I don't believe a f-ing single typed word that comes from Nelson, or any of his digital surrogate minions. You weren't around decades ago when he was plying the Membership with the "Randy Canale Boogie Man Show" Now... They just plug the TWU, and the Association into the same equation, and run with it.

They are like a broken record that has a bad skip, just playing the same line over and over...

In fact-- if you play it backwards, the lyrics come out as... "We are the messengers of Corporate Greed-- We are here to sow the anti-union seed... doo... wop... dooo.. wop"

This is an extremely long article but very interesting for anyone who might want to read reality over fantastical fairy tales.

Hey Tim, do you think because of Sito’s age he’s going to retire soon and how many Millions in retirement wealth do you think he’s accumulated over the years?

Do you think he ponders you every now and then and the fact you’re going to have to work till you’re 75?

It would be nice if he at least sends you a Postcard from whatever Caribbean Island he decides to drop his Beach Towell on huh?
I, personally don't think he will retire anytime soon, but I really don't care. The IAM is corporate and only a management shill. It simply doesn't represent our interest, regardless of who is in charge. Klima I guess would be appointed into Sito's spot but he is an absolute idiot as well. Kev knows him for sure.

They hire dumbe people below them. I love my job and I retired when I filled out my application. If I live to 75, I guess I'll still be working since I got a gravy job.
Last week I worked 1 day, and this week I worked 1 day. At any rate, what's the fuss? Who cares whether Sito retires? I wish him and his family the best, as I do anyone.
