American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

The membership has no say. It's all in Alex Garcia's hands. He's the one calling the shots for us. The new Jim Little of the association. A fleet service guy negotiating for the thousands of association members.
Figures. I actually hope you are wrong. This would not be good for the mechanics scope and work rules as well as maybe even retirement.

Don't worry guys, the word out from reliable union sources is that Alex Garcia is the only one talking to the company under meditated negotiations for both fleet service and aircraft maintenance. If anyone doubts this then go and verify it for yourselves. Don't waste your time denying it here. So where and what are the rest of the negotiators doing? Association letters are now not even signed and that was put into question a while back. Now we know it's a one man show.

Ok 1AA this one actually won you a prize. It was so funny that I had to send it up and you even gained the honor of some attention and a response.

Weez my gross is $2175.00 with an issue date of today. Yes, checks in the mail Nov 7.

Something’s a little off here hog? I’m getting $700.00 less than you. If the TWU only cares about Fleet then wouldn’t it make sense that those checks should be reversed? Lol.

Well "a loaf of bread cost the same" for all of us!

Let the members vote and hopefully your goons will stop getting in the way of progress. Once a TA or proposal comes out, I'll mobilize and get out the yes vote.
Tim with your influence and others the company's last offer would easily pass. Are you not afraid of the backlash from the IAM members who will bear the brunt of the concessions

Actually that depends on the type of bread you’re looking to buy. And you worked harder than I did to earn your hand made Asiago Cheese bread where I’m stuck with Rye for my sandwiches.

BTW I’m not related to Chavez bro.

Are you kidding Al. He needs them for his next sales push of how corrupt and moronic the IAM leaders are.

Perfect weapon to paint (whoever) as just a Management arm.

Quite a discernible pattern.

Doesnt sound like a hard sell

The IAM members, including me, will be participating in a $120 million cost positive yearly contract, on avg. In the worst case scenario for those 500 LUS on the 90% and 100% family plans, their health care is 1 chip (where a chip = $6,500) and the company will be giving them back 2 chips ($13,000). So everyone will benefit. Now, for part timers who won't have to pay double any more, they come out farther ahead and for the few thousand singles like myself we LUS come out massively ahead. And for those who work OT, that new double time could push the new cost positive agreement into $20,000+ yearly increase since we don't get double time except on a second day off. The new double time is anything over 12 hours, just like before.

You are really a silly guy. You just can't see through the glass due to your own agenda. I didn't fight against the '14 agreement and when this comes out, whether or not Sito says it's a goodie or not....it's a goodie and I for one will be pushing it. Unless of course he lost a big chunk already from the last offer.

I’m sure LUS IAM will be waiting with great anticipation to find out if whatever comes out gets your stamp of approval for “THEM” to vote on.

Reading this is just like reading us that wanted a vote at SWA. I really thought it had a chance to pass. However it sounds like if you guys get your prebankruptcy rules back, and your scope isn't bad , yours will most likely pass.

"it's a goodie and I for one will be pushing it."

That was about the most ludicrous comment he has made to date... other than maybe "I'm in charge now"!

Only a small fraction, of a fraction of the membership in the association even knows who he is. With that in mind, even with a handful of dubious digital supporters in an obscure forum to support his agenda, it is highly unlikely anyone will seek his personal endorsement...

This dude must think the membership has placed him on a throne, and crowned him king of airline labor... what part 770 to 20 does he not understand?

keep fighting them Tim. When the two blowhards fighting you are Harry Ellis and Jack Elam, you know you're on the right side of things. Iam will continue to ruin things, poor twu will be ransacked by twu. probably part of the plan, hey meetings next year. oh giggly. i just can't believe twu can't see what's going to continue to go on, or maybe certain elements do.
