Let's analyze your guys situation and,SWA independent union , vs industrial unions. At SWA except the pilots we,all have the same insurance and same 401k . In fact the industrial unions got the bigger,match, we had to buy an Airline to get a match the other groups did. It was part of our seniority integration agreement. At American if you guys ever got an independent union, you would still have two separate contracts for the new independent union would inherit. So it would still be in mediation trying to get a JCBA.

Enough already. We don't care about SWA and AMFA or the Teamsters. We have our own issues. Industrial unionism is here and the concept of unions has shifted from protecting and fighting for the membership to financial survival.

Correct, but we don't need to hear your problems. We can't do anything about it nor does it affect us. The association and company are following their own respective courses. If we change representation that would be an improvement over what we have now. More membership input and accountability. We don't have that with the association.
