Of course they should have. I would have wrapped up talks in less than 6 months and obviously wouldn't have tossed out all of our leverage.
As it turned out, they blew their wad and were more focused on dues and conventions. Typical.
Actually, they could have consulted with many professionals, I'm not the only one. All of them could clearly see the errors and pitfalls that Alex, Gary, and Sito stepped into.

At least the mediator made it clear that it's going go to be "Ice" if Gary goes off on his "Barbie Tantrum's and conspiracy theory hallucinations again. Maybe he is finally taking his meds.

Whatever the case, they need to send the last best offer to the membership for the membership to vote. It's going to massively pass. Gary can even involve his ego and recommend a no vote to save face. But the members need to vote. After a vote, Alex and Sito can continue their lovefest or do whatever they want, even give themselves pay raises, and I won't care. After a contract, there simply will be no reason for me to be on these pages. Weez you will never hear from me after a contract is ratified. Until then, I'm going to continue pointing out that your handlers need to learn and schedule a vote. We are losing $13,000 a year and the economy is starting to crack. Any TA will be ratified, if not, the next one will be worse.

The company PAYS YOU

YOU PAY the IAM-TWU Association and get little to show for it.

What you have to show is prolonged negotiations, the other workgroups are about to exchange openers while your negotiators are still working on a JCBA. It is not that the company won’t open their checkbook, the other groups have gotten substantial gains. The IAM-TWU Association seems content kicking the can down the road. They already get to collect full dues, unlike at UA where the unorganized sCO passenger service agents they could begin collecting dues from only after a CBA was ratified.

UA-CO closed 09/20/2010 and they ratified a T/A mid November 2013 (39 months; 2.5 years after Tim’s successful organizing drive in 07/2011)

AA-US closed 12/9/2013 and you still have nothing. (60 months and counting)

And it was ridiculous how they yielded to Gary Peterson who claimed that he would get a contract by last Christmas (Something that you said 100% was going to happen) by wearing a tin hat and concocting a dumb arse conspiracy theory thinking that he would play Parker against Isom.
(Still, to this day, the most ridiculous negotiating ploy I have ever witnessed.). Thankfully, he removed the mirror in the back and we don't have to watch him in underwear videos. But at least the mediators set him and alex straight and threatened to put things on ice if they didn't keep running juvenile plays.

Alex' submission to Sito is annoying, I must say, but whatever the case both him and Sito need to finally embrace the company offer and let people vote. I'l push a yes vote since the next one will be worse as Alex pissed away all leverage already. Let Gary Peterson put out a rejection letter even, who cares? They can recommend a rejection, but let people vote. After we vote and ratify the contract, Alex won't be a fart in the wind to me and I will wish him well. I did hear that he is a nice guy type, and that's fine, but in negotiations I would have preferred not having the altar boys pissing away our leverage to the point of no leverage now.

That was a dumbAzz conspiracy theory about isom.Dude loses any credibility going forward. Might as well make tim a consultant cause whatever they are doing now isnt working

So little Napoleon is going to come here every single day and harass us and disturb any hope of having any normal conversations on this site that very few people except us gluttons for punishment visit. Kook was thrown off of every decent FB page out there except the one where he runs the show.

And even if we ignore him he’s still not going to stop. Tell me he’s not mentally imbalanced.

Uncle Jerry was literally shaking his head during thos negotiations as he offered all current scope to get fleet service resolved so he could focus on mx, but Sito didnt comprehend and ridiculously tried to cut a separate deal for the iam pension according to Fly. Sito was told it was only a yes or no. Sito blew it. Catering and lavs and a few stations are gone.
Weez is getting bad info. We arent going to expand stations like non union delta. Thats simply not happening.
The mediator sat down gary and alex, not sito, and told them to knock off all the bs conspiracy videos from mr peterson. All according to fly along. Also they will ice everything with one conspiracy hiccup. so 100% no more isom conspiracies from gary.

when someone has to say someone is insignificant, that means they are. But they arent thinkin about me, only that money coming their way.
Ill enjoy raiding many properties at the iam and other aflcio unions. Im not goin to buck the amp unless that group, including its leaders, wants the new union to take over.
Same with delta ramp campaign. I have the utmost respect for brother kip hedges but if that committee really wants a union then we will mobilize and get them a vote, otherwise if the strategy is to only keep a perpetual union campaign then it might be a good strategy to keep the iam around.
And if the twu presidents wanted to leave the association for the twu or otherwise then thats also worthy to support. Primarily, shutting down the iam will be a focus of some.
