Robbed I believe they are voting now. Last day is May 21.
Thx bro. Good luck. Sounds like overall a hell of an improvement over other offersYes. hog is correct, robbed.
Started voting April 24th. Ends May 21st at 10 am (I think 10 am).
Some are thinking reversed numbers from the last vote, and some of us are predicting even better numbers flopped to the yes side for this vote. Some say 80% plus yes. I say greater at 85% yes plus.
I would have to say that 90% of the no votes were holding for full retro, better snap up, and all years included in the outgoing years raises. Plus, scope untouched from what we got now WITH added protections and added headcount coming with new contract. Pretty much a no brainer for us brother. This year alone will boost us over $10 bucks an hour. The only other changes more of us are hoping are some changes within this maint leadership from all the games they played and how badly they have ran this culture right into the ground. Hopefully Kinder will get it all back for us, but it will take some changes for the mechanics to come around for sure.
Hey robbed here's the notice for voting. I thought I posted over here but maybe I didn't here:

We should start seeing some information in the next few days per GP in the last podcast.Enough bull **** !I want to see the union proposal !!!!’n
This Fox reporter doesn't have a clue. He brings up the Southwest agreement and even has the balls to say the Southwest mechanics don't even like it after the 6 years of nego's. How can he report that in good faith when the vote isn't even done yet???
Below is the para quote from his article about the SWA agreement:
"Southwest Airlines recently announced it reached an agreement with its mechanics union, and those talks took six years. Their union is still not happy with that agreement."
The above statement is the furthest from the truth. Watch it pass flying colors...
And you live and work in ORD? You have serious credibility issues. I can go back and pull a few of your posts to prove your ignorance. Please educate yourself.I never believe anything out of Oklahoma, it’s a state that claims to be conservative but yet receives more from federal GOV then it gives and fosters a mindset of socialism from a company rather then being a capitalist society.
A divided house will not stand!Been saying that from day one. The infighting will never stop. Too many hard headed top leaders on both sides. Rather anyone wants to admit it or not, it does in fact still happen to this very day...
Like I said, too much in fighting for either side to compromise, hence the go around by the co. to the membership... Nego's 101, where you been???
It will be certified if it passes after 10 am Tuesday May 21st. The retro pay for April and May will be paid in the June 5th , check. The full retro if ratified will be paid 30 days after ratification so around June 20 th. So I don't know if that would be in the June 20 th paycheck, or a separate check?Swamt or 737. Yes. After the 5 years of pay freeze, we finally started getting movement from the co. with each offer getting greater and better as we went along. Then this Kinder fella came in and sealed it all up in about 3-5 days worth of nego. including over a weekend (first time that happened in the 6 years of nego.)Thx bro. Good luck. Sounds like overall a hell of an improvement over other offers
Well I would finally hope so. How long will this asso. keep you guys in the dark? It really is non-productive to do so, especially when they are reaching out for support from the membership. We should start seeing some information in the next few days per GP in the last podcast.
My Lord I hope they are separate. But, it is what it is. With all AMFA locals endorsing, I foresee it passing thru. We would be complete morons if we did not. Remember, Kinder had to go back to GK over the weekend to get approval for the increases needed that hit the top number allowed for Kinder to approve. Although GK said to just do it, if it fails, we will see the ugly lions head roaring loudly. One big swipe of that huge paw right across the table knocking every bit of what was on it right into file 13.It will be certified if it passes after 10 am Tuesday May 21st.
