American Airlines flight delayed in Texas by swarming bees

Seen a swarm land on a wing before, don't recall if the moved away on their own or of we had to do something.

Fairly common in MIA.  I've seen swarms at the outflow valve on a 777 (more than once), on air stairs and on the back windshield of a  baggage tug.  They usually call in the beekeeper/killer to get rid of them.

Have seen this quite a few times in PHX as well. Couple of years ago we had a big swarm around the fuel cap on an Airbus; ramp was more or less done loading so they threw the last few bags on and locked up. Flight crew figured they wouldn't be much of an issue, so we pushed it out with this giant bee swarm still attached. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen. They started to disperse as it taxied out.

Here is the first photo I saw when googled.
