Princess, This is standard procedures for the NMB, We all know Amfa has less than 50% of valid cards, will Amfa be sccessful at reducing the 18,661 below the Valid cards filed? At this point it is in the TWU ball field. Amfa has made every attempt for the last 3 months and has only been successful at increasing the potential voters list. Wait longer it could very well increase again. Keep up the great job, you are doing a great job for the TWU!!!!!!!
You don't seem to understand.
The battle will not end if the NMB, AA, and the TWU screw the members out of a vote on the union representation of their choice.
I have had more volunteers come forward in the last 24 hours than in the last 6 months. The Organizing Committee has already grown in Tulsa due to this injustice, and there isn't even a card drive started yet.
I actually look forward to another drive with a committee twice the size as before. Anger brings the apathetic out of the woodwork. And those that have been on the sidelines are ready to take the field.
We will vote now, or we will vote later.
One thing is for sure, until that vote happens, there is NO UNION on the property. With a divided membership denied a unification vote, the TWU is now at a record weak level. And Jim Little is threatening some action if Arpey doesn't show the "shared sacrfice" by June 28th, 2004. You TWU supporters better hope that Arpey does not call Jim's bluff, because with over half of the skilled technicians feeling slighted by the TWU as much as AA, don't look for many takers when "whatever action Jim deems nessacary" is called by the weak leader.
In fact, I hope Jim's latest bluff is challenged by AA Management, a legal demonstration of the TWU's weakness could take the cake right now.
