What's new

And so it begins

I was involved in the 'Upgrade program' and if memory serves me we had several people get washed out because they could not pass the A&P license test. We had two people go into Management from that program. Pretty much everyone is still on the floor or in shops.

I was not talking about the upgrade or apprentice program being the issue.
I know several that went through that and are successful. I was talking about Management positions being filled via SRP Relatives and Planners that have no skill or experience over the area they are over.

Why do so many things get twisted into something not meant here?

It is as if some cannot read and comprehend, and others cannot stay on topic.

Methinks it's a mix of trying to confuse you in addition to having smoked enough low-grade dope to slay a Jabberwocky.

Now the management will come from kids fresh out of college with no experience in any job market. They will pay them dirt and then they will move on to other better paying companies. Just like the engineers.

Everyone is trying to figure out the why in why did AA fail? The fact is YOU failed to see a freight train coming, that freight train called deregulation. The main objective to this new law was to get more people to fly cheaper by introducing more competition between companies. There was never any provisions for guaranteed pensions and long term careers or bloated union rolls in this new law. The legacies are now replaced with new issued stock companies and will all be ready to revisit the bankruptcy court in the future if they fail too. Along the way lawyers making $1000. an hour and CEO and BOD bilking the companies will succeed in their short term quest. The Alphabet unions will continue to fight for their turfs and the lint in your pockets,

YOU, Joe six-pack will be left holding your empty lunch pail.

Yes and we see how effective our political leaders(lawyers) have run this country in the ground. You don't see their pension being touched do ya?

The axe was swinging again yesterday at HDQ and in the field...

Unofficially, I've heard that the following MD's are now either retiring or pursuing other interests:

John Tiliacos
Melinda Patino
Arian Saadzoi

These were all L7 or L8 from what I recall.

This vendetta ( off with their heads ) attitude is satisfying, temporarily at best.

The bigger picture, the question should, how does this action put food on my table once I get daboot ?

Unless you've received a healthcare education, it's slim pickings in this stubborn economy.

THANK GOD! They were all HORRIBLE people to work for, Arian was the antichrist of DFW treats everyone like dirt, Malinda was just his puppet lately and Tiliacos treated the rank and file at LAX like idiots and treated his CSM's and MOD's like slave labor.

And, you are so mentally deficient that you can only post the same thing over and over again. Get a life yourself.
