IIRC, Teddy advised her membership not to vote for the contract, and PIT was the only base that did so.

I think a good number of us saw Ann and the status quo as the "known evil". Some of us know Ann and Glenda to be educated intelligent people And saw the challengers as folks who simply hated flying and wanted out. Your real issues or complaints should be about Mike Flores, who seems to feel that he is more an executive without credentials than a union leader. Flores, that is your real problem.

In my opinion, Ann and Glenda are very smart and very dedicated. And they are very effective as union reps. There are those who disagree and that is thier right....

I have been flummoxed as to the reports of them not answering the phone only to discover they were being slayed with calls at the time. There have been times that due to ATC and or weather that the office gets slammed with calls. It's like a call center without enough call center operators. And you have to remember....there are only about 3 or 4 people there at any time. It's really a small office with a very small staff.

I think they do a hell of a job under the curcumstances.....

Then it is obvious that you did not really do research on all the candiates running. You have definitely been hiding with your head under the covers.

Oh please you have got to be kidding. If Ann would allow more people to come into the office and actually participate in the day to day activities of the union that would be great, but Ann does not want anyone to come in. The door is usally locked the lights are turned off and no one answering the phones. She does not want anyone to know that they are not in the office during office hours like they are suppose to be. She needs to go. Look at the numbers, over 80 percent of the members voting did not want her in. They are not doing a good job and the numbers reflected that.

I suppose you luv CatCrew as well..... :blink: I can understand them being "flummoxed" by calls, but not bothering to return said calls is a different story.

Can anyone tell us what the total # of f/a that voted vs how many are in the base? what was the final count for each candidate that ran for President, VP & Sec. ? CLT AFA site does not state the final voting results except who won.

Pardon me for being just another nosey customer but why oh why is there no run off election between the top two vote getters?

If I was in the AFA, I'd raise such a stink over this to the point where Pat Friend would personally castrate me!

This to me is insanity unchained. How in the hell can you have a strong union led by someone/anyone who got 20 pluss percent of the total vote? This isn't against anyone in CLT just sayin'

Hey guys I am over calling the office and not getting anyone to answer the phone nor return my phone call. I have heard that some flight attendants were starting a recall on Ann. How do I get my name on the petition to recall? Who has the list? Lets get the ball rolling!

Every point brought forward was valid. As a blockholder I am a tad rusty on reserve but she proves herself worthless. Thank you Charolotte for such great reps!
