What's new

Another one bites the dust!

I'm not sure how the CLT-LGW is doing, but if the loads are not conducive to using an A330, expect to see a 757 on it shortly. (It will likely happen as soon as the CLT 767/757 pilots are trained for transoceanic flights...probably no later than October.)
1.The Clt-lgw route has too much cargo on it that a 762 would not have enough space to fullfill the cargo needs. The flight goes out with half load and still makes profit thanks to cargo. (part of the reason the route has been a 333 for so long).
2.With the clt-cdg route scheduled to be on a 333 next summer the 333 flight base isn't going anywhere anytime soon with flights to Lgw, Fra, and now cdg from clt.

I hope you're right.

How's the Pittsburgh hub going, by the way?

Didn't Scott Kirby just say in one of those CLT meetings the company had no plans to discontinue this service?

and.....you are shocked that someone of Kirby's caliber lied again ???????? He just follows Dougs lead.

Isn't LHR the "preferred" London airport--particularly for business travelers? Like LGA is for New York City?

The "preferred" airport is useless if you don't hit the ground until almost noon.
