Well, they are not born so as of right now there is no law protecting something that is not born. There are laws that say a person can be convicted for murdering an unborn fetus which still makes no sense since they have no other rights. I have yet to hear a lawyer explain that.

I just believe in individual rights that allow a person to have personal control over their body without government intervention. Why don't you believe in individual freedom and privacy? Do you believe government knows best and a woman and her doctor do not?

So you want to use a procedure that makes up less then 0.2% of abortions to deprive a woman of control over her own body? Who are you to say what a woman may or may not do?

Just to be clear, I am part of a party that does not care what you do to consummate your marriage, when you do it or who you do it with. I am part of the party who does not care if you want to buy a bottle of wine on Sunday morning. I am part of the party that does not care if you want to smoke a joint or a cigarette. I am part of a party that believes you have the inalienable right to run your life as you see fit so long as it does not directly affect the rights of others against their will.

It did work though, short term. I mean, really, who wants to stand up and say they are part of the "immoral minority". So, it got Ronnie elected, and Bush Sr, the real candidate, to the back seat. Not so good, but it could have been worse.

Long term, not so much. Kind of like asking the fox to guard the hen house.

Now, the adorable red headed step child has morphed into some sort of bible carrying, wrapped in the flag Chuckie monster, terrorizing the good people of America with their hate and fear and lies and hypocrisy and narrow-minded, nearsighted vision of the America that never was. For most people.

What is your obsession with the private affairs of others? Why is it you need to control the lives of others? .
