LOL. Is that who he is? I always thought cleardirect was just some ugly chick that needed to get laid!

Can't wait to hear from their Nic cheerleader from UAL 767 Jetzz. Looks like the Continental boys have plans for his career. The UAL yuppie ALPA unit jacked everything up when they tried to stack the deck for their USAir merge. Now Continental turned the guns around on them. Sure is going to be fun hearing him now.

All that matters is the Arbitrators ruling. Both the CAL/UAL MEC's testimony before the panel is as irrelevant as USAPA. Just relax and worry about your own airline. Nothing that happens at any other airline is going to change the fact the USAPA will be constrained to acknowledge and DEFEND the nic award via Injunction in the coming months.

Just like the 1900 East guys that were unemployed at the time of the merger and appropriately stapled, if I were a UAL furloughee, I'd start accepting the fact that I'm not going to be senior to all WORKING cal pilots of the last 13 years. We see what happens when expectation management goes berserk. USAPA and the resultant Billion dollar price tag happens. It changes nothing, but makes the pilot group poorer.

Is that meant as an insult or congratulations? I wasn't at Mesa, but i went from FO to Check Airman and then Chief Pilot in 5 years. Am i supposed to be embarrased because i had friends that went to Mesaba and Horizon taking 8+ years to upgrade?

No, you're supposed to be embarrasssed by that company's low standards.

"We see what happens when expectation management goes berserk." Yep. If i were an AWA new hire of 2005; I'd start accepting the fact that I'm never going to be magically made instantly "senior" to "Working" east pilots with then 17 years on the line....just sayin' 🙂

PS: "All that matters is the Arbitrators ruling." does seem a bit subject to opinion here, and has for some years now, in case that's escaped you entirely. 😉

Poor Kevin Horner, in his corner. Fretting about AA and TWA staple job, then scurrying like a little rat to the LCC battle to condone a staple job. Must be worrisome sitting there working the best situation for himself.....

Final and binding arbitration isn't "magic". Perhaps your grip on reality is looser than previously imagined. Just for future reference: "Injunctions" are NOT "Suggestions" or "Proposals". Start repeating that hourly now and you might buy yourself some measure of calm in the near future.

I know it kills you not knowing the identities of the people that have so successfully held your head under the LOA93 waters for all these years, but just know this: you will never figure out who I am. It's irrelevant anyway. Just call me..."a benefactor" to the West. The delay game is over, USAPA is getting the ball stripped from their hands no matter what.

Ooh! Ooh! Didja' get any T-shirts!?....Or at least honorary "spartan" status!? 🙂 If you've got extra T-shirts..umm....well...can I finally have one? Pretty please? 🙂 I'm willing to pass on the "spartan" fantasies, but one of 'dem waay-cool-dude "Integrity Matters", or even better yet: "Dire Wolves" would be like totally awesome Dude! 😉
