Dude, do you ever live in the real world? Yesterday we saw your "I had a dream..." comedy post and now today we see this. Interesting, to say the least.
The case is ripe, we will be working on a joint contract with American which is anticipated to be completed by August. In September we roll into the POR and bingo- all pilot groups are on the same contract. The SLI begins between US and APA- NOT US East, US West and APA.

Of course, you clowns will need a court order to get this through your thick skulls. But the reality is the only trick you had these past five years (delay, ripeness) is about over. Stupid is as stupid does, though, I realize you won't understand until it's already happened.

Good grief, you ARE a clueless moron.

Yes, seemed like the timeline in the MOU pamphlet spelled it out pretty well. Isn't the seniority list complete along with the JCBA. 8 months after the POR, if no agreed list then 90 days to arbitrated award. Anyways, something like that.

I'm going to take one of my usual self induced forum breaks. Our pastor and his wife were running the Boston marathon when the explosions went off. He was actually at the finish line waiting for her. Thankfully both are OK, unfortunately all weren't that lucky. Everyone have a good week, both east and west.

Bean

Glad to hear your friends are safe and uninjured.

Yeah, yeah. Every "up front in an S80" story you have, we have one that goes the opposite way. Give it up you twit.

My guess is that you never mentioned the arbitrator put a guy with 17 years uninterrupted service behind a west new hire.

Just like in Wake's prejudicial courtroom, it's easy to stack the deck when ALL the truth is not brought out.

Did you happen to mention how the west saved the east, and now that AA is the bankrupt carrier, you are saving AA, too?
Disregard. I answered the wrong post. See below.

Had a nice conversation with an American crew up front in and S80. Really good.
Captain asked me what the problem was with the whole east/ west seniority thing... asked why we just don't go to arbitration and be done with it. Told him- we did, six years ago. The look on his face... followed by the comment "what's their problem then?"
Hmmmm. Thought for a moment. "Well captain, they're just a little 'different' out east. They think they can forget the arbitration by changing their name"

Oh god, the looks on both of their faces was priceless!
Captain said something like "what, are they that stupid?"

Oh man, was it funny!!!

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Also you didn't mention that under ALPA merger policy both pilot GROUPS had veto power with their VOTES. If EITHER the East and/or the West didn't like the JCBA.....FOR ANY REASON....they could LEGALLY use their respective collective power to VOTE NO! Did you explain THAT to him/her? No, I thought not.

Is there a union that has the power to implement a JCBA without a ratification vote? When was the last CBA/JCBA vote for the pilots of LCC?

If ALPA or USAPA had put out one or more (say 10 or 100) TAs for a vote that included the NIC there would not be any legal battles over S22. What the NMB would have done in response to that scenario is impossible to predict, but a no vote by the MIGS on a JCBA is entirely different than the CBA refusing to abide by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.

Great news! Justice Silver is taking the AZ case!
Now you cockroaches can provide her with your LUP to disregard a neutral, third party arbitration which you signed on for! God this is going to be great!!!

Yes, it will be great. I expect it will be tossed without even a court hearing. Let's just wait and see, shall we?

And, I expect the fences will keep you on a narrow body in PHX for at least the next 10 years, if not the rest of your career, so you'll never know how a 330 compares to your ancient 320s.

You mean the 330's that merger with AWA brought to you?? The one's that would have never shown up on the property without that merger? The one the CEO of the New US Airways arranged for?? Or was it Bruce 'I don't want to run an airline' Lakefield?

You're wrong again, just like the other westies. US Airways has had AB330s since the year 2000. The ones since the merger were placed where they could make money, on the East. Most, if not all, of them were on order before the merger saved AWA from their demise.

You're lucky that Mr. Lakefield could arrange the financing to keep your regional airline afloat, since without it they couldn't repay their government loan.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, your west compatriots don't.

You know that USAPA agreed to that, right?
