What's new

Are they Hypocrites?

So you are saying the so call "ops specs" cannot be change so employees with direct involvement with flight operations can ride the cockpit jump seat on a limited bases
You must no even work for an airline, obviously you don't understand far's

What (part) no pun intended
You mean "ops specs" that are convey to the FAA
Yeah, ops specs are fars, they can't trump the FAA. No us carrier allows FA in Jumpseat because it's illegal. It is not illegal for pilots to occupy a FA Jumpseat , that make sense?

Fed Ex lets any employee ride the jumpseat.

They were allowed to jumpseat after that, and they're allowed to jumpseat at other airlines.

Look I've slammed move2clt enough but he & the pilots have nothing to do with you folks not be able to ride the fd j/s.

I agree, this is something very different than what we have going on between the pilots. There is no reason for leaving pilots, who are trying to get to or from work behind while there is an empty seat. It is just plain vindictive and serves no purpose.

What are they trying to do, unite east and west pilots against the flight attendants?
