August 2013 Pilot Discussion

Are you really sure that you want to discuss & compare flying skills of our two pilot groups Hawk? A post like yours invites all kinds of commentary. I am EXTREMELY proud to be a former AWA aviator, and I will humbley leave it at that.

Have a great day! It will all be done soon.

You bet! I'll match our flying skills with any of you real airline pilot wanna-bees.....SUCKA!

Well, no answer from CB, or one that is anywhere reasonable from anyone else. Shocker.

I think it boils down to the same deal they gave the FAs. No hiring in PHX, short staffed flights canceling, yet still no need to hire, but once the POR hits and we are all one contract, they will offer vacancies on the West to east pilots. With the TA fulfilled, the easties do not have to go to the bottom of the West list.

I have no real problem with that, cause once they do that, they do it with the Nic, and guys of say Sully's seniority come over and bump us all down and shorten their commute, but get their rightful place, just 6 years late and $250,000 shorter.

The company most graciously thanks folks like Bradford and Cleary, Mowery and old #3884 for the extra $ 1 billion you have saved them in the last 8 years.

Yeah, that's it! You are a hoot!

What is that total on damages up to now?

Agreed to a fair arbitration, not a windfall. A windfall referenced by ALPA itself for something not to have happen again, referenced by UAL and CAL to be avoided. You agreed to a process that was fair and equitable, yet fail to rectify it.
Wait, I forgot. I am on your ignore list. Never mind.
Yes a fair arbitration. Nowhere does it talk about the result. In your opinion Mike the result is a windfall. In the only opinion that matter Nicolau it is not.

The arbitration was fair. You had your experts and lawyers. We had our experts and lawyers. You just don't like the result.

What fair process does usapa want? That usapa gets to decide what is fair and impose on the west. Taking a furloughed east pilot and making him senior to a west captain. Now there is the windfall without a fair process.

Spare us the wining, Chump. "Collectively" there was NEVER an agreement. Neither legally, lawfully, ethically, religiously, or otherwise. You and yours are simply an NAACP group that wants vigilante justice. Yeah, I said it. You and yours and the NAACP of the union world trying to make this some kind of race issue when it's really about something you don't have....longevity. Why should he stick to HIS hobby when YOU can't even do a passable job of BPR rep? SUCKA! Yeah, that's right....I said it!
There was an agreement that the ALPA merger policy would be used. The company and the pilots agreed to use the result of the arbitration. That is legal, lawful, ethical and otherwise.

It's you easties that want vigilante justice. Something you could not get in a fair process. You want what in your opinion is justice. An imposed seniority list designed in your favor.

Once more. It is a seniority integration not a longevity.

Yeah, that's what I thought you were doing. If you don't have enough pilots to fly your schedule then the east is not flying it.

Really? Prior to the Parker's takeover of US Airways in 2005, our pilot group was 19 hundred and something rather than 16 hundred and something and my wife did not have to go through Charlotte to visit family in New Orleans.

Parker will grow the system who will fly for discount wages.

I wonder if he'll wine 3 times as much when the new BPR votes start falling 24 - 3.
Bad assumption on your part. Do you seriously think that all of the APA guys are going to agree with you fools on every issue?

Could be 19-8. The APA guys could just see how irresponsible your leadership has been.

No, but is that the jail number of some AWA dickhead? It reads A. Hancock. Is that YOU? SUCKA! Oh, STILL senior to you.
Jamie you are name calling more than usual. Why so angry if you think you are winning and got over on the west with the MOU?

Have you finally figured out that usapa has lost?

Really? You don't have a side business as an airline analyst, do you?

You correctly state that the guy that used to run AWA is now running US and has impressed Wall Street so much that he will be running the largest airline in the world. So tell me airline genius, if he is still running things, and he has this unlimited supply of cheap labor, why isn't the east flying PHX-MSY? Or LAS-RDU? Get back to me on that and I will fill you in on the "full flights" that my Mom and Dad flew on the west recently.

It boils down to labor costs. You have one group who is paid higher than the other. The company prefers to staff the airline with new hires and LOA cheap labor.

Standby for the AWA lifetime pay scale comparison for you, and the Ansett video for Nic4.
This is just too easy.
The only thing Snapper runs is his mouth. Nic4 pulls gear for numerous scabs.

Have you figured out that when Scott Kirby tires of your lectures, he simply says "NO"

If Parker brings along the derriere kissing East management, the low pay will follow, it's elementary.
