Let me get this straight here: "Female", "West", "Captain" might, when faced with the issue of a lost ID, have panicked,.."? Seriously? Even I don't have THAT degree of contempt for "you'se"..umm..."spartans". "Westie" or not; we're talking about a coworker in the company here on a board seen by management trolls. I don't know the person nor the circumstances, so I must go with the notion of her becoming ill on the road and properly calling in sick.

PS: It's really no surprise "you'se" would publicly post such against even one of your own group, or even imagine any possible "panic" at a lost ID. After all; crew news videos indicate that a great many "knights" and "dire wolves" are nothing but knee-pad-wearing, management-worshipping, hopeless village idiots, some of which are even on video record asking of top management if they can "turn in" supposedly "fellow" pilots.

"You'se" come from an utterly disgusting "culture" that could normally, only be found in cracked and contaminated petri dishes. Small wonder that I've no use for ever concerning myself with obtaining any supposed "unity" with "you'se"....There just isn't enough hand sanitizer available on the planet for ever even considering a handshake with such a magnificent and "integrity" laden "spartan"...umm..."army". Sane and decent folks exist within the west ranks, but not nearly enough of them to make any wholesale group difference, it seems.

Works for me. Wanton greed combined with selfish opportunism has never been anything I could raise any pom poms for.

An extract from one of my all-time favorite President's speeches during my life to date, who's philosophy got it right on such:

What a joke! Cleary didn't take his vacation and wants to be paid. Pay the man his money! Gary gets paddled twice on the way to the hospital and remains in his position not even using his sick bank. WTF over.

Hate

Gary gets paddled twice on the way to the hospital and remains in his position not even using his sick bank. WTF over.

Seperate issue. Just another selfish and coniving little "politician" that should be thrown out.

"Cleary didn't take his vacation and wants to be paid. Pay the man his money!" After that person opted to try and copyright the union's very "name"?, Well...screw him. "It's ALL really just about MEEE!" creatures completely disgust me. Always have, always will, no matter their prior history, failures, achievements, or how they got that way/so seriously sick in spirit. Unless/until victims of debilitating disease/injury/wounds/etc that completely cripple the mind's capability to function: We're all fully responsible for our actions. You can write him a check if you're feeling generous. He'd have to explain the attempted "copyright" BS to me before I'd now even give him the civil time of day.

A time when america west airlines had very good luck with the local PHOENIX Federal Court system.

"I found the America West Airline drug trafficking trial fascinating. Patrick Thurston, Vice President of Operations, America West, Bob Russell, Chief of Pilots, and Carl Wobser, a captain, all pleaded guilty to multiple counts of narcotics trafficking. They had purchased a DC 6 and embarked upon a career in the drug trade. Unfortunately for them their plane, which they maxed out electronically, had chronic engine problems which required them to touch down unexpectedly in several countries. This was more than embarrassing, since they had not filed flight plans. On one such emergency stop in Aruba, on the way back from Columbia, their plane was found packed with marijuana. There is reason to believe that their intended cargo was cocaine and that after a mix-up they did not wish to fly back empty. Despite the lofty positions these men held with America West, they seemed to have no difficulty getting time off for their drug flights, and America West wanted to rehire Russell after his six months in the Federal country club.
Twenty percent of the stock of AMERICA WEST AIRLINES was owned by ANSETT AIRLINES of Australia and 55% of ANSETT AIRLINES was held by Sir Peter Ables and Rupert Murdock. We know from Jonathan Kwitny 's book, the Crimes of Patriots, that Burny Houghton, perhaps the key figure in the founding of the CIA drug money laundering bank Nugan-Hand in Australia, had coffee with Sir Peter Ables the night of his first day in Australia. (Editor's note: Very few know that Michael Hand was one of the 5 top aids of General Edward Landsale. The CIA extraction of Michael Hand after the very, very doubtful sucicide of Frank Nugan came from Arizona. For that matter Tom Clines and David Morales grew up in Phoenix! bdq 8-12-97)
I watched Assistant U.S. Attorney James Lacey prosecute both rounds of this case. The three AMERICA WEST pilots had all plea bargained out. If they did not testify truthfully about the others in the case, they would be looking forward to serious time. Lacey prosecutes all the large narcotics cases in Arizona. Because he is the son of Frederic Lacey, the federal judge appointed by the Justice Department to be administrator of the Teamsters Union, Jim Lacey has unusual clout in the U.S. Attorney's office here. Although Lacey could not deny the pertinence of the information I gave him, it was clear that he did not want to know where this case ultimately led. I watched him play patty cake with the defendants when he should have been playing hard ball.
The plot began ia July of 1986 when Helmut Bubble called Thurston from Alaska and arranged a meeting at the ARIZONA BILTMORE RESORT HOTEL with Thurston and the other pilots. Ten days later they met again in Bangkok, Thailand to arrange their first cargo. Their original plan was to make their pick-up in communist Laos. One doesn't go to the great difficulty to travel to restricted Laos to purchase marijuana or Thai stick as the pilots claimed. Pot is legal in Thailand. One goes to Laos for heroin. Thurston testified that his cut of this first flight was to be one million dollars. When I ran the numbers for Lacey, it was obvious that only a heroin cargo would generate this amount of profit. With the DC 6, three or four flights a year would have provided the entire US requirement for heroin.
It was well known that Thurston was formerly a CIA pilot for AIR AMERICA, supporting the secret war in Laos. Several employees of America West told me that all three pilots worked for military intelligence. I pleaded with Lacey to check the military records of the defendants. I know that he never did. I told him that Helmut Bubbel fit the perfect CIA profile and that he was probably the highest ranking member of the plot. After several unscheduled stops overseas made it clear to the pilots that they would be caught, it was Bubbel that the pilots closed ranks to protect."

Us Airways, America West Seniority Dispute rough draft timeline

2005-2006 US Airways, United in merger talks

2005 Us Airways, America West merge

May 2007 Arbitrator George Nicolau’ pilot seniority award was issued. The award was written with the assistance of two ALPA pilot neutrals, Steve Gillen United Airlines Pilot and Jim Brucia former Continental pilot now United Airlines Pilot.

2007 Us Airways pilots ask ALPA to review the award. ALPA president John Prater, former Continental pilot now United Airlines pilot, assigns ALPA vice president Paul Rice, United pilot, to review the award.

December 2007, Paul Rice, United pilot, delivers seniority list to Us Airways.

2007 A group of Us Airways pilots start a drive to start their own in house pilot union.

March 2008 ALPA puts the Us Airways ALPA Mec in trusteeship.

April 2008 In a National Mediation Board sanctioned election, Us Airways pilots oust ALPA and vote in USAPA as their official pilot representative.

May 2008 United calls off merger talk with Us Airways.

2008 America West pilots sue for DFR against USAPA.

2009 2010 US Airways and United restart merger talks.

April 2010 United Us Airways end merger talks.

June 2010 The 9th circuit court rules in USAPA’s favor.
